  1. Hey Matroska. It’s nice to see another EP71 user in the forum. I’ve been using one since 2007. Though I have used one EP82 and couple of EP91s the Boxy was the one fascinated me most so I was eyeing for a one for some time. Since my preference was a two door car with reasonable body shape finally settled for an EP76 van for 475000. Sadly cars of those kinds are now in the hands of people who couldn’t afford for the required maintenance. So mine was of the same. Bringing in it to a standard of my choice was actually a painful and time and consuming job but I enjoyed every step of that. So

  2. @fiat fan @Kavvz that's SL alright, near the walking path behind the parliament, there's a hospital there as well, pretty beautiful, there's a junction with an Army run shop and across the road people set up shops (inside their cars) and sell stuff. I'm bad at explaining where it is so here's a link https://goo.gl/maps/bDykrNshfCg9WbGR7 Roads around the parliament are perfect for flooring it ?

  4. Yes direct fit. Just plug and play. Even the one with LED display panel and digital fuel gauge is plug and play unit. A CAN bus standard is maintained throughout all models so most of meter panels that fit in the model series are direct fit.

  6. Congratulations on your purchase and best of luck with the mods! Nice write-up @matroskaI had several bouts of breathless laughter while reading this. Level of dedication needed to maintain the uno, color scheme of riced up Nilkamal civics... ?Oh man! Where can I read more of this stuff? I read Komisiripala's book only recently and I wasn't disappointed ?

  10. Hahahah! Great post! Another Starlet owner who can't swim ? Cute little car, been thinking of swapping a 4EFTE on my EP91 as well (Different pistons, manifold, springs, turbo) should easily do it, not sure about the process of a 2E to 4EFTE conversion, saving up the money will be the issue ahhaha, I was quoted 300k for a 4EFTE swap with the Glanza Auto 5 Speed box. If you have the chassis code you can type it into ToyotaDIY.com and see the trim and color it left the factory with, should help you in identify what trim (DL/XL or whatever it left the factory was). If you want some

  14. Always enjoy reading your blogs, great writeup again ! And you have chosen a sensible option I would say. Something we can park anywhere (legally of course :D) and go, something to do all the dirty stuff without worrying of scratches, dents or bird poo etc. Something which can go over humps, trenches with no regret, Such a peace of mind ! ? But when its a beater, I guess the key thing is keeping the money you put in to the car to minimum. Not getting too carried away with the modifications and upgrades, or else we are losing the objective of a beater car.

  16. I swear I was checking out some FD4s on the adsites when I heard the notification bell. I'd love a Euro Sedan any day (406, Jetta MK5, E46, W124, you name it). It's just that maintaining one from our area is a bit of an exercise. For now, we have to stick to japs, not like that's a bad thing. Also, I'd say any econobox is in vain for us Kanda uda guys. 1.15 hours and that too without a fine? I'm seriously impressed. FD1s seem like a bargain now, maybe because of the 1.8 that disappoints the Thel worshippers. For now I'll stick to jangis. Easier to get away trouble-free & complaint fr
