Research On Buying Intention Of Hybrid Vehicles
Watchman replied to Thilina Dk's topic in General Automotive
it would be a awfully half-hearted job if he doesn't come back nor take the feedback into consideration. He really needs to brush up on his surveying skills. I filled out one of the free text questions (shocking how many free text questions he has, especiually related to ranking.. it won't take a genious to realize that tabulating free text answers is a bitch) saying "read the feedback given on autolanka". Hopefully he sees it.- 11 replies

Research On Buying Intention Of Hybrid Vehicles

And on the topic of the survey, I completed it but I agree with Komi that you really should go through what you typed or ask someone else to do it for you to check for your spelling and grammar. A well worded/presented survey makes people want to do it rather than "get it over with". Another person you should talk to is someone who is in market research. Tell the person what information you want to know and they will help you create and organize the questions. For example in a survey double negative statement give a different meaning than a positive statement. A car that is not-expensive, is not the same as a car that is cheap. Anyway, if you want some productive answers you might want to talk to someone who knows how to create survey questions and do this again. It will be some more work, but would be worth it. And I'm sure those of us who already completed it will be more than happy to re-take it the survey.- 11 replies

Not necessarily... this only shows your lack of general knowledge. For example does a doctor have to be a woman to be a gynecologist? Does a vet need to be a dog or a cat? Does an expert on dinosaurs need to have seen dinosaurs in reality? Likewise, some of us here are experts in identifying donkeys on the internet, and you sir have been identified!

So you paid the bills in japan, but left a polla everywhere else??? chee chee.... I thought you had enough wealth to last you generations..

To call your current English 'wrong' would be an understatement. Yes, English is not our first language. But I recall you making condescending remarks on how you speak the 'queen's english' learnt at SPC, and how other members on the forum are 3rd class people who speak shanty English. So since you criticize others' English, it is only fair they they do the same to you. And yes, we know that you are a shameless fellow from some of the stuff that you have said here. And contrary to your belief, about 90% of your message is lost in translation.

Dear Mr. Sylvi, I think think this is one of those instances where you can call yourself a ass/donkey. This "theory" you talk of does not exist in Autolanka. A majority of us on Autolanka are capable of deciding what cars we like and what cars to buy. We don't go buying cars because they have an 'elakiri wage market' or they are "brand new". And on your point about a A to Z vehicle, didn't your brand new chinese van break down numerous times. In this case it didn't take you form A to Z. It only took you upto I, J or K... I think you are again becoming a metaphorical donkey braying throughout the night becoming a nuisance to the neighbourhood. So please bray in the post-whore thread or your own thread.
-
Sylvi, I believe when Mr. Joint called you a "lame-ass", not an "ass". A lame-ass is someone or something that is unpleasant and boring. In this case the someone is you, and the something is your story about who owned land where. But I can understand why you thought Mr.Joint called you an "ass". During the course of your time here you have said a lot of stupid things. So people think you are an ass at times. Another name for an ass is donkey. In sinhalese it's called a "booruwa". Have you ever been called that? If you have previously been called a booruwa / donkey / ass you might you might feel that the hat fits. Also please note that you have your own thread to talk about all these things. You should be proud, because you are the only member here who has his own thread to talk rubish. If you can't find it log into the internet and goto this hyperlink. "Sylvi's Link"

I agree with crosswind on the complexity. And from what I have read, you dont even nee a gearbox. It's simply a matter of increasing/decreasing the power/voltage given to the motor. Higher the voltage provided the faster the motor turns and faster the car goes (theoretically with an infinite top speed). That's where the complex electronics come into play.

considering how long the queues were, 65th means you probably go in within the first hour. How long did you have to wait outside till they let you in?

The chunk of happiness you get is inversely proportionate to your priority/turn to ride on the highway. So proportionately sylvi had a more than you. That's what he is saying... I'm sure the president got the biggest chunk (of happiness.. nothing else) out of the highway.

hik hik hik,,,,, good times are back!

You sound awfully cocky for someone who's here asking for help.
-
If you imported it through the agent they will advice you on the service intervals etc. for the first few months. But when running the car try not to overrev or over-stress the engine till it wears in. have fun with your new toy!
-
Does it even matter? Do you get a say in the purchase, or what/who the car goes to after the summit? Let's get back to the topic of washing your rubbers after use...I was thinking about this after sylvi mentioned this, but how do you roll it back up into the ring like state after its washed and dried.. I mean its not like you slip it on like a sock.
-
Sylvi, they were reusable? But wouldn't the lubricant also be washed away when washing after use? I would imagine that once dry it would end up feeling like a sticky rubber balloon. Out of pure curiosity; did you have lubricants back in the day? I dont think prices are that different for the reputed brands anymore. A friend said that the prices of D__x in SL and overseas is more or less the same. PS: Yes this is kinda OT, but frankly think about it.... if we are getting screwed by the government in all sorts of positions on a daily basis, we might as well talk about contraptions that can make screwing more pleasurable than talk about an S-class we'd most likely never get to own.
-
I'm guessing while the S classes will goto the royal family the 141s will probably goto government departments.

Kerosine is not recommended for O-ring chains. Wash with good old soap water and lube it. If you're looking for a chain lube as long as it's meant for a O-ring chain you should be OK. It's not about how often you oil the chain, but rather if the chain is oiled. If you oiled it and rode through heavy rains the very next day, the chances are that you will need to oil it again. A fancier alternative is to get a scottoiler. About USD150 but I know a lot of riders who swear by it saying thier chain/sprocket last about 3 times as long as it used to before using a scottoiler. I dont think I wanna dump $150 on it so I'm actually gonna try a DIY version using a 50cc syringe, fish-tank tube and engine oil. Shall update you guys when its done.
