  1. but the best street racing game i've played is called SRS:street racing syndicate which i played on the ps2...i dunno if you guys have played this but instead of getting rewarded with cash or cars when you win races, they unlock a clip that play hot girls dancing and stripping...wearing less and less as the game progresses...how awesome is that!!! oh and the cars were ok too..lol here are some of the "rewards"
  2. NFS is highly overhyped in my opinion...i think EA is just putting out these titles out quickly to get more money....i enjoyed all the titles up untill most wanted but the others after that have been crap...and there are much better competitor games out there like codemasters GRID or burnout:paradise if you like the pigs chasing you...excellant gameplay if you like arcade style(semi realistic) racing games and both are available on all platforms. but if your looking for a simulator granturisimo kicks ass...forza is also good but at the moment not quite up there with GT,but enjoyable nontheless
  3. wow...what cars did you have mate?
  4. yep...he has to be be fit and mostly with the pace of the current lot...tough ask even for schumi...and transitioning from superbikes to a f1 is not easy either, two very differant ball games(even if rossi might think otherwise)...but if anyone can do it he can... big businesses attached to f1 like the bbc are pushing for his comeback as well...just think of the ratings boost the will get if does indeed race in august.
  5. good comments by mini, mani, andrew and fuzzo...yes,if this thread was meant to offer condolences to the deceased it has tragically failed...all because one individual has completly lost his inner peace. rest in peace biker dude! hey shami...havent seen you on track with the R1 lately...dont tell me the reccession has hit that outing also...LOL
  6. yeah dude i'm very excited as well...when he was winning every race we took him for granted and forgot how truly wonderful driver he was...but now that has come back we'll get to see the master at work again...perfect timing too cos the car seems to have settled down as well... it's been awhile since i looked forward to a f1 race this much...
  7. Ferrari announced on Wednesday that they plan to draft in Michael Schumacher to replace the injured Felipe Massa at forthcoming Grands Prix, until the Brazilian is able to race again. The seven-times world champion, who retired from Formula One racing at the end of 2006, will undergo a special training programme over the next few days to confirm he is fit enough to compete in next month’s European Grand Prix. "The most important thing first: thank God, all news concerning Felipe is positive,” said Schumacher. “I wish him all the best again. I was meeting this afternoon with (Ferrari team principal) Stefano Domenicali and (chairman) Luca di Montezemolo and together we decided that I will prepare myself to take the place of Felipe. “Though it is true that the Formula One chapter has been completely closed for me for a long time, it is also true that for reasons of loyalty to the team I cannot ignore this unfortunate situation. But as the competitor I am I also very much look forward to facing this.” Schumacher has not driven Ferrari’s current F60 in anger and last tested for the Italian team, with whom he won five world titles, back in April 2008. http://www.formula1.com/news/headlines/2009/7/9703.html http://www.michael-schumacher.de/?page=news&story_id=82078〈=uk
  8. ahhh..we think alike, you and i....great minds an' all that...lol yep...the other forums have been producing genarally positive comments as well...most seem to like how they kept it simple unlike the busy looking 430.
  9. true it is photoshop...BUT it was released by ferrari themselves...it aint no outsider artists impression...so we can rest easy knowing that the end product will look very much like this.
  10. you're right...it is quite pretty...much improved from the f430's design...looks a little zonda-ish from some angles, but it aint such a bad thing and zero to sixty in 3.4 secs!!!...thats even faster than an enzo!...cant even imagine how fast their next hypercar would be like now...roll out the f70 ferrari!!!
  11. that is one awesome machine...but with great power comes great responsibility...just because you or your parents are rich does not mean that you are a great rider...only a few 1000cc+ bikes roam around colombo and i know that most of them are complete idiot mama's boy "bikers"...weaving in and out of traffic etc,etc...the real ones never even take out their bikes in colombo...it's either some deserted outstation road or at pannala. just because some ass-hat in a subaru chllanges you to a drag at GP does not mean you accept it!!!...you know with a bike like that you can lick any pathetic four wheeler...so why bother??? i did not mean any disrespect toward the dead but guys like these spoil it for the rest of us
  12. yes definately...infact some cars were imported over land in the 1970's...my dad owned a 31 sri morris oxford(orginal diesel) which was brought down from england to india via land and then ferried accross to SL...my late uncle also had a pug 404 brought down the same way...i recently met a driver who did one such trek from england to here and the adventures they had along the way are fantastic to say the least... i have huge craving to do such a trip like the natgeo program called the long way down...maybe not that extent...but something similar...a trip from north india to galle is somewhat more realistic neda...
  13. haha...once you pop you cant stop! been wondering where you've gone off to you've lowered the 156?...she must be looking even more gorgeous now neda now i'm dieying to see the giulia mate...dont get me wrong i adore the 'fetta too...but the guilia is the one that speaks to me most...i like 'em curvy...LOL
  14. i'd go for a cab...a van maybe a tad bit more economical(if that) but you cant compare the versatilitya nd the ruggedness of a cab with a van...but i must say the the cab is a bit uncomfortable compared to a van, specially the backseat, and the turning circle is not that great either...
  15. also the vista's suspension tends to bottom out even for the most tiny pot-hole...i've experienced this when hitching a ride with a guy i know...he says it's a common problem...this might be untrue but worth looking in to, if anyone is buying one...
  16. yep these are one-off cars built for sultan haji of brunei...below are his one-off rolls and merc estate
  17. lol..depends on what kind of women they are...i've seen some euro babes that are extremly butch...queen dykes!!! anyways i'm in...i've heard the swedish often protest anything with public nudity
  18. yep...you being a pug owner/enthusiast should deffa know how crazy the french are harshan...and i've noticed that they the most helpful people of the countries when it comes to advice and material...unlike the stuck up british and the other best thing about shipments is the bubble wrapping...been awake all night popping those suckers...LOL
  19. R.I.P Henry Surtees( 1991 - 2009 ) At Brands Hatch on 19 July 2009, Surtees was hit on the head by a wheel from the car of Jack Clarke after Clarke spun into the wall exiting Westfield Bend. The wheel broke its tether and bounced back across the track into the following group of cars and collided with Surtees' helmet. The car continued straight ahead into the barrier on the approach to Sheene Curve, also losing a wheel, and came to rest at the end of the curve with its remaining rear wheel still spinning. This indicated that Surtees had lost consciousness, with his foot still pressing the accelerator. Surtees was extricated from the car and taken to the circuit's medical centre, where he was stabilised before being transferred to the Royal London Hospital. His death was attributed to severe head injuries, inflicted by colliding with the wheel rather than the following crash with the barriers, and was announced later that day.-Wiki
