  3. good one! haha...not if you are intending to sell your ride anytime soon mate....lie through your teeth!!! seriously, because most of the buyers i've come across, readilly accept the fuel consumption figure given by the owner,no matter how outrageous it is imho the beetle has something else going for it besides the large numbers mate, unlike the jap cars...some may call it "soul" or "personality" .....GTAm or supra_natural can explain this better than me

  6. Chasing a Mercedes SLS AMG prototype By Nick Trott 27 April 2009 16:00 Had some fun chasing a disguised Mercedes SLS AMG prototype on the recent Porsche GT3 launch. As we turned around for some cornering shots the stealthy black coupe whizzed by – and we took chase. And what did we learn about the SLS from the chase? Firstly, it’s fast. Easily a match for the GT3 we were driving. Secondly – the car disguises its dimensions well. It’s long and narrow, with an odd – but not unattractive extended snout. Also, the grafted-on rear spoiler of the prototype clearly points to some kind of pop-up version on the finished car. And the noise! Following it at moderate speeds the SLS simply burbled – but when it took off it sounded like no other road car I’ve ever heard. Bassy but mechanical is one way to describe it; complicated, multi-layered and aggressive is another. The noise was definitely V8 – but old V8, not new. It actually sounded like an old Silver Arrow – which makes me wonder if Mercedes has not only styled this car to look like an old racer, but its also tuned the exhausts to sound like one too. I hope so, because that noise will go some way towards justifying the proposed £135,000 asking price. Sure, the world might not ready for a 563bhp V8 Merc at the moment, but when the SLS prototype driver gave it full throttle the petrolhead in me went a little weak at the knees.

  10. drove a D*MO batta for a few hours last month around a coconut estate....was pleasently surprised at the handling and the power from the tiny engine...and was good with a load on it's back too...yes safety might be a issue as pointed out earlier,do some extensive research before you buy one.
  11. yep i get asked that a lot(specially when i'm with the classics)...latest victim was the magnette. "meka petrol bonawa athi neda?"....to which i reply "ow ow hondata bonawa" ...that usually shuts them up anyways pradfred what other cars do you have other than the autozam and the LR in your collection?... will understand if you do not want to reveal
  12. happy birthday madmax!
  13. I am both saddened and at the same time alarmed at how a neutrel and a differant view pointed post is being ripped apart and humiliated using the all too familiar justification tactics regarding the war.I find it very hard to believe that anyone here is an extremist or a terrorist supporter(particularly the member being accused,as I have had the pleasure of meeting the gentleman personally). This website used to be place we could come and express an opinion without the fear of being porsecuted for having an unpopular opinion.I am grateful that most of the replies here have been civilised and to the point, but however one or two is very unfogivable, and could drag this forum down to the level of other "patriotic" forums if allowed to continue, and we could end up losing some valuable members.
  14. if your looking for a "softcore" sports car i think even a savannah mabe too much for you...very unreliable those are yep autozam does sound like the car for you...or try giving the guy selling the lambo-doored delsol an offer, who knows he might succumb...the del sol's a very easy car to live with
  15. ah no worries...yes i was reffering to the PS network ID if you play online haha...with buggers like you out there,it's a good thing that saturn and gihan taught me how to secure my connection

  21. autozam's and rx's are like apples and oranges...make up your mind my impression is that you are a newbie looking for a sunday drive...then my advice is to go for mid size coupe or a fastback but if you are serious on buying hardcore sports car why not a 300z(honest opinion madz,no advertising intended for our friend) if still you are interested in a rotary let me know...i know a couple of FC's that are for sale
  22. machan what's your PSN ID?
  23. if you need a full media center expeirience go for the psp...and if you have a ps3, because of the remote play thing... but if you're just looking for gaming it's the DS handsdown...much better selection of games and the dual touchscreen display makes for an interesting gaming expeirience imo eg:GTA chinatown wars
  24. oh no...codemasters have this habit putting out arcade type racing games instead of realistic one's....their colin mcrae:dirt and GRID game's are superb and the sense of speed is mind blowing BUT they are very far from being the real expeirience like the GT series.
  25. ROFl..i think that might be a lil' bit earlier than than the 80's machan hey you have one of those?...very nice
