  1. My daily right now is a CAT phone which i'm very careless with. I can say without doubt that the 6600 & 3310 from personal experience can mix it up with the CAT?
  2. @fiat fan the Razr was just something else! I bet you'd look cool even today if you rock up with one of those somewhere ?
  3. I'm guessing they're better now than the N14-17 Sunny with the 1.3 ?
  4. That phone or more so the OS was actually quite decent to use tbh - i liked how familiar it felt! ...sometimes a little too familiar almost because it froze far too often and without warning, rebooting sometimes which meant anything you were typing (long rambly SMS's for an example!) disappeared ?‍♂️ The bad news was actually the hardware Despite the hot-swapable SD/MMC and various other bells 'n whistles, the motherboard failed on me in a year
  5. I don't think i've come to that stage of lockdown sickness yet @iRage Didn't the Dell's also run some mobiles on Linux? Or am I thinking of the Motorolla's that came after the V70, Razr but before the Droids??
  6. Would it kill them to just offer a manual with a nice light clutch since they aren't even hybrids? ?
  7. OMG ! That thing was like the coolest thing to own when we were in school back when it came out! Amazing @thou1584?
  8. Indeed - I got it just when starting my first job where @VWvortex also worked coincidentally at the time! Liked it so much i bought one a couple of years ago (Middle East refurbished sadly) for my father when he insisted on a QWERTY! ?
  9. Did you ever get a chance to use the old Microsoft Smartphone OS? It was very different to the post 2010 OS with the tiles. The original was much closer to a Windows PC in that it had one of those old school start menus and the file structure. The new Nokia's don't have anything on the originals - my E71 from 2008 is still going would you believe?!
  10. @matroska House of Fashion sells BOOKS ??? ?
  11. Interesting project @varotone! Sounds very technical ? Looking forward to seeing your progress on this endeavour ?
  12. Yes, vehicles with Duplicate CR's are offered 10% less than the threshold level lent by most banks/NBFI's Also one day transfers are usually not permitted on cars with duplicate CR's
  13. Debug offered some really good Epson Ink Tank units with a host of great features (Print, Scan, Copy + Cloud Printing, Automatic document feeder, USB print, WiFi direct print etc) . They're quite cost effective to run and are great vale when you consider the print runs offered off a single bottle. The option of refilling just the colours you need at an non prohibitive cost is great as well
  14. Sounds almost too good to be true as I don't know if very many original flat roof Exceed spec specimens were ever brought down - legally at least. There was a massive industry of "re-bodying" these so do check (or have a professional check) if there are any cuts or welds that shouldn't be there Also see there is a way to decode the chassis to see if the factory specification lines up with the physical specimen
  15. LKR 100 a day penalty if that article is anything to go by http://www.dailynews.lk/2016/09/02/local/92101
  16. Omitting an owner is not possible but you can pay the set figure and have any leasing companies/banks removed from the CR Are all the forms dated?? If so you will end up paying a thumper in late penalties
  17. @vitz well played Vitz - imagine getting Abans to actually fix something leave aside let you get away with a Rs 20 bill? Good stuff!
  18. @Kavvz aren't DCT's an evil in their own right in conditions like ours where its endless slow creeping in traffic in hot humid conditions??
  19. @tiv i know the recon CVT's were a mess with the X Trails but didn't A*W replace the ones they brought under warranty? My apologies in advance for my ignorance on the issue. I was of the view based on the views of known parties that the A*W imported non hybrid X Trails were fine/unaffected by any gearbox maladies
  20. @tiv don't forget, the current Nissan is more of Renaut influenced variant and not the good old Japanese company many of us liked. That said A*W is a decent agent if you are buying a car from them with a warranty @######## Rajapaksha. My dealings with their workshop, in an older Nissan, in years past were good and professional.
  21. tak tak noise can be from the tappets/lifters
  22. Is it possible to know what exact vehicle it'll be going on please? I'm curious, any specific reason to not go with say an uprated ball joint if stock isn't cutting it? Any changes to the suspension or tires done?
  23. Also to add to what @Twin Turbo & the valid points @SamN noted don't forget to factor the RMV charges for registering the conversion
  24. @iRage Toyota never had any known lifter issues with the VVTI engines did they?
