Im rather clueless about bikes, but there is a guy next door to my office who does bike repairs, he gets a lot of old jap bikes, and uses our yard for parking them sometimes, The remains of a CB250N are there even now sadly, dunno what was wrong with it, owner never collected because of some major engine prob, so iit just rotted into the ground I'll keep an eye open and ask the bloke if he knows anyone who's getting rid of any bikes.

Well you can always ask, but since they are the agent for Autoglym, i dont think they'll be entirely chuffed at the idea of using a rival product...

A VZR engine is a good idea i guess, but as max pointed out, kinda hard to find..... And as for the N1 Motor, almost no chance of finding one! But the Pulsar engine bay CAN fit the SR20, as certain Aussie specs of that pulsar (The SSS if remember right) came with it.... So i guess your best option would be to find an SR20 and Manual box, shouldnt be too difficult. P.S. if you go ahead with this, PLEASE remember to upgrade your suspension and brakes as well!!! and keep us informed about how it goes Cheers

Not sure about the oil capacity mate, or the filling position, but i believe one of the better places to get it done is probably P*tstop_ They'll have the right oil for it too i guess, seeing as they are run by A_M_W...

You seem to have covered all the important points Prad... Main things I had a grouse with were the fact that the classics were not timed, and the mixing up of race cars and the classics..... Lack of a refreshments stand was a bit of a downer as well Mind you All said in good spirit mate, I imagine it must be a hell of a lot of work to get such a thing together, and it's all very well for us to sit on the sidelines and find fault...
