  1. AFAIK, it comes only with a 1.8L or a 2.0L motor, and most of them (perhaps even all) were automatics as well...
  2. Devinda_Z has one of these and the fuel consumption is pretty bad... somewhere on the order of 5-6 KM/l in town
  3. Not a Mini Pickup is it?
  4. Chevrolet LUV? If not, give us a hint please
  5. Interesting to see you guys in a different time! moderating does have it's disadvantages evidently
  6. Pericles still has it... changed his mind about getting rid of it
  7. yeah machan, I guess you have a point in this too.... it's too bad that we dont get the 'Cruiser in Aussie Spec though http://www.toyota.com.au/landcruiser-70-se...ures/mechanical check THAt out!
  8. just to point out here (as an owner and confirmed fan of the 70 Series Toyota Landcruiser) that the "cruiser" has a heritage that is almost as extensive as that of the defender... the 70 series landcruisers are to all intents and purposes the direct counterparts to the the defenders.... "Cool" is very much a matter of perception i guess, dependability is not.... No offense whatsoever to LR fans, being a Classic car enthusiast myself I understand the obsession, but the thing is, when you're miles from anywhere in the middle of some desert, or the aussie outback, It's the Landcruiser that's more likely to go through it without a shrug.
  9. too bad we didnt know about it mate... D_z or i might have picked it up if we knew you were getting rid of it!
  10. nice idea, but a Rover V8 with only 3000 Miles on it would have had far better uses IMO..... bit of a waste really..
  11. Lancia Gamma?
  12. damn, never thought of the MGA!! whose car is it btw?
  13. ahem, try what gummy?
  14. Same here too.... will do duty as the 4th!
  15. This story has been circulating for some time, been apparently proven to be true...the tale is that this "guy" and his "Wife" (who actually IS a woman) decided to go this route because the wife was infertile or something like that... as to the "disgusting" comments, IMO it's a matter of personal choices, and I for one dont think that any of us should Judge... just my 2c

  20. just to put a cap on the enthusiasm I'd like to point out that when we were SUV hunting last year, the commander cost 13.5 million, while the Disco 3 was just north of 18... and the RR at somewhere north of 22... with THAT kind of gulf, I wouldnt say the commander is an automatic write off...
  21. Suzuki NEO Baleno
  22. oh i dunno.... the Daimler Benz connection meant that engineering wise the current Jeep lineup is pretty reasonable. Granted, not a patch on things like Merc MLs and BMW X5s, but for the money they arent too bad.. even at the ridiculous price they charge for them here. and yes, I am slightly biased
  23. does the word "Anachronistic" ring a bell?
  24. well I was right about the cambridge/oxford... they WERE designed by Pininfarina.. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Austin_Cambri...mbridge_Mark_II so i guess the theory about the Merc could possibly be correct then eh?
