    Yes, I've read that there are real worries about the box's ability to handle consistent full bore launching.... apparently it can invalidate the warranty!! i mean WTF? but seriously, techno marvel or not, this new engine can apparently sustain a max output of around 650 (unconfirmed)... quite some distance from the outputs of the good old RB26

    if the car is as knackered as you suspect it is, then it's advisable to take it to A_M_W, as they will be able to give you an idea of what exactly needs to be done.

    I haven't actually used one myself.... but from what i've heard "not really" is the answer to questions on all those areas you've mentioned they aren't very stable either, have seen a few flipped over thanks to the owner attempting a corner quickly... those tiny wheels combined with the narrow, high body don't make for much in the way of handling. weren't you looking at 4x4's earlier?
