A**o F***e parts and service charges
Hyaenidae replied to Monkey King Stu's topic in General Automotive
When you say "EPS rack repair", it could be either tightning a loose nut [5min work] or a 8-hour repair so I don't think anyone would be able to say if the their charges seem reasonable or not. If you want to compare you could try comparing their hourly rate with the agents rates... -
Toyota axio 2008 jerks when pressing accelerator
Hyaenidae replied to RandikaPM's question in Mechanical problems
Jerks are kinda normal on CVT boxes, you tend to notice them more if you're coming from a 4AT... but if this is a recent development it's cause for concern. Could you post a video clip like @iRage asked?- 15 replies

IDK about mazda agents in Kurunegala but there was a real nice looking CS3 2011 for 2.7mil on the quick site, posted 3 days ago, if you're still open to consider another car go check it out. Its authorized agent UNIMO has workshops islandwide including Kurunegala.

Not sure if this is in SL but it was shared in a Sri Lankan automotive group on facebook, a guy had posted a problem with his aqua, his new alloy wheels were making the wheels rub with the wheel arch, this was suggested as a solution

The Belta is a CVT innit? Since it made an audible sound which went away when following this procedure I think this is applicable for CVTs as well

This should be corrected as SB >> Shift to N >> Engage PB >> Release SB >> Engage SB >> Shift to P >> Release SB Releasing the SB while the gear is in N without engaging the PB would make the car roll neh, that would be quite dangerous on an incline. You should release the SB only after the PB is engaged, to make sure that the PB is firmly applied and it is holding the car completely still. After you made sure that the PB is holding the car, you can engage the SB again and shift the car to P. When I was using the 2nd method my Belta used to make the thud sound, that went away when using the 1st method. Haven't tried the 2nd method on the EX yet, been using the 1st method since it was brand new. When reversing, Reverse to place>> Engage SB>> Shift from R to N >> Engage PB >> Release SB >> Engage SB >> Shift to P >> Release SB

Regarding oil burning issue of Honda gP 1
Hyaenidae replied to Rascapacac's topic in General Automotive
What they do is just a cleanup AFAIK. The issue will return. Get the pistons and piston rings replaced with redesigned ones from Stafford Lanka or a trusted 3rd party workshop -
Let that grace go, not worth it IMO
