yeah...they mostly caught buggers who were on heads on lit up areas...

even HID converts, if they are sensible in aligning their lights and use the low beam in lit up areas...i doubt the cops will even notice.

the problem is...some of our jackasses love to show off their new lights and go on full beam...

it's only natural that cops were gonna catch upto them especially after the end of war and them having not much work

Well the problem with the plan is that most of the very decent drivers are politicians and their escorts, and we all know what happens when a cop stops one of these very mild mannered gentlemen for using their shiny new light on high beam

Guys wasnt there some sort of issue with the cops when it came to HID's ? i thought the cops stopped cars that didnt have properly focused lights ?

If you have HIDs there is no problem whatsoever from the cops..coz..they think that HIDs are fixing by V*P's and very rich people..so if they stop them the cops knows that there job is at a high risk...maybe they will have to transfer to a very rural area...this is something a traffic OIC told to one of my friends...this is SRILANKA

i know majority of our cops are dumb but i dont think they are not going to stop every vehicle with hid lights fitted to it.
