Help Can We Export Used Vehicles Such As Ae110

Dear friends.. i think this is not harm to start new topic. if this topic was discussed early pls direct me to there, if not pls help

1.Can we export using dealers 2nd hand car such as toyota corolla ae110

2.is there any relaible places pls tell me

3.as i check the market ae110 users are demanding their 14 to 15 years old vehicle.. may be around 2.3M

I don't think you can export cars, and i doubt you could get 2.3 million for that car in another country.

Why do you want to export cars...where do you want to export them? Import or export??

I dont know about exporting cars, but I dont think it would be possible if those countries too have strict import regulations on the vehicle's year

yes.. you can export to countries like Nigeria, somalia , where import regulations are not that strict.. but the problam is the cost. unless you export some stolen vehicles, i dont think that you can make any profit............

by the way , re-exporting is possible, and some people are doing that in our country..... for an example they import left hand drive vehicles and export them after converting them RHD.......

It seems like there's some confusion about the term 'Export' by the OP here..

Jayashantha, do you want to get a used 110 from another country to Sri lanka (Importing) or do you want to sell cars to another country (Exporting) ?

There were some other threads in the forum where you were asking questions on buying a 110. So,i guess you want to import a 110 isn't it?

And the answer to the OP is, no you cant import it. There is a law stating the car has to be at MOST 2.5 years old

I`m pretty sure you meant to say "Import". But as common sense suggests, if there was a way to import a 15 year old ae110 people won`t be able to demand 2.3M for one locally now would they? Prices are high because you simply cant import 15 year old junk into SL legally/profitably.

Can you export old cars out of Sri Lanka though?

If you exported some mk1 &2 escorts and any cortina back into the uk you would make a fair bit of cash from them as there is a high demand for them particularly the escorts due to people wanting them for rallying. 2 door models would be the ones to take though, not much of a demand for 4 door models

I have done very big mistake.. sorry my friends.. i have missed "Export" word... it should be import and ,,, I understand that only 2.5 years old cars only be imported...

any one please tell me can i buy a vios for 2.2 M .. . i can hardly come to budget or 2.2M pls help me to find. i am finging a 110 ,but most 110 are around 2M even though the YOM 1996 to 1999. so ae110 is pretty old car. so i need know the plausibility to go for vios

this may be a stupid question. if it is so.. pls forgive me as I am new person to this automobile world
