Differences Between Lancer Models After 2000

Hi can you clearly tell what are the additional features available in each model with respective to the YOM. since there are couple of models under the same Lancer name (2001,2002 box shape) and (2003 after round shape) i want to know what are differences and the best buy for a budget around 2million.

and what are the specific feature diffrences between GL,GLS and GLX when it comes to lancers.

I am not familiar with the GLS (I have actually only seen that grading in Pajeros/ Monteros) but the GLX is the highest grade and comes with the usual options of PS/PM/AC/PS etc. I am not 100% if any of these cars come with climate controlled air conditioning.

There are two models CS1 and CS2 around your budget. These cars were face lifted around 2003 and the models after that sport a clearly different face. Apart from that most other features remained the same. Most CS1s I have seen are in GL spec, and don't have power shutters. The pre 2003 CS1 seems to go at around 1.6m which I think is an excellent buy since you get a proper sedan at that price and while the 1300CC engine is a little underpowered it should be perfectly sufficient for the car particularly in City running.

Since quite a lot of these cars were imported brand new they sport manual transmission.

Best buy is a after 2003 CS2 GLX which goes for little over 2.0 million but you can be patient and bargain and see what that gets you
