Proton Waja Fuel Economy

dear all if anybody use proton waja auto car could u tell the fuel economy as when i search on net it says 7.68l per 100km but is it practically ok let say i buy a use one then surely the above fig be less but the range i want to know

pls anybody have let me know

Is it Campro or 4G18?

I had a Campro which did about 8 km/l in the city. As far as I know, 4G18 does a tad bit more.

All this is if the car is in good nick. If the car is hacked, expect lower figures.

it is campro 2001 model auto if its 8 in city then how about long distances travelling

2001 model didn't come with the campro engine. check again. First Wajas to come with the campro engine were manufactured circa 2006. Campro also needs to be fed Octane 95.

Look for a sticker that says "4G18" near the chassis number to confirm.

Waja is a heavy car that is not designed for fuel economy. Even on highway driving, it wouldn't give more than 10 to the litre. Any claims to the contrary may be fabrications by someone whos trying to flog off one.

6.5 KM / Litre
