Electronic Fuel Injection Enhancer (Efie) Device

Hi All,

I've been looking at several options to increase the fuel economy of my pajero-io GDI.

Since Nano technology and SOLTRON is out was looking out for something new and then this caught my eye.

DAHAMSA Electronic Fuel Saver

This was advertised on hit adds. I just made a phone call, and the responses to my questions was a bit shaky, but I just browsed the net for some information and came out with the following articles.

Can you guys please provide me your exper opinion on this? The DAHAMSA people says that they will not be doing any modifications to my engine and it will not affect the acceleration, etc..

Don't fall for these bogus technologies. They are there to make a quick buck off gullible uninfomred vehicle users like you. There is no commercially availlable fuel savers that actually work.

The only way to get better fuel economy from your vehicle is sensible driving, maintain optimum tyre pressure, maintain clean air filters, fuel filters, reduce the weight in the car (carry only what you need instead of using the car as a storage bin, like many do).

Also make sure your plugs are in good working condition, sensors are perfomring well, ect,

Also the GDI Pajero IO is not known for its fuel economy. Quite a few IO users here and they will be able to explain better. However sensible driving, planning your trips well ahead and maintaining the car proprely applies to any vehicle owner who is concerned about fuel economy.
