car - 1997 Carina AT212 ; Since today the blower of my car doesn't change with the fan speed selector. When the cabin is hot blower works fast but as it gets cooler the blower almost stops regardless of the fan speed position. After I stopped and restarted sometime later the same happened. The blower speed doesn't change when the fan speed selector is moved form Auto-1-2-3-4 (can switch off though). Replaced the evaporator 2 weeks back (original Denso) and it worked fine till now. Any ideas as what has gone wrong is appreciated. Thanks.

sounds like a blower switch or resistor problem...or bad ground connection to the switch.jst a simple task show it to a good electric technician.

It seems to me your climate control is set on AUTO. Not sure how the older toyota units work, check the AUTO button and if the indicator associated with it is lit. If not, the control unit may be stuck on AUTO.
