I thinki Nilantha is eluding to the fact that most of these severely damaged vehicles are bought for their registrations rather than their actual value. In the good old days they used to get them for body permits. There are very many vehicles in SL without proper documentation and this is the only way to legalise them.

We know perfectly well that people will take it, patch it up, and sell it saying dumbass things like mint, showroom condition, accident free to some poor bugger who doesn't know about vehicles and cheat him. If you do that, all that makes you is a cheat looking to profit off some other persons misery. And quite possibly a murderer if you fixed it in a shoddy manner that fails and causes an accident.

You can sugar coat it all you want, end of the day, you're still just a money-grubbing cheat.

The first thing when you restore a car that will be used for everyday use is that

it will be safe to send you'r kids to school in,

And it will be safe for you and you'r family to go down south in the E01.

If the vehicle is up to those two standeds well you would keep it

Or you can sell it to someone without a hesitation.

If not it's better to send it to be scraped.

This greed of the people is why I only buy a second hand vehicle if it is sold by some one who used it for some time,
