Door Beedings For Toyota Carina

I have an old carina AT 192 (1995) with brocken front door beedings (but otherwise in very good running condition). I searched for new/used beedings in places around kandy and kurunegala but failed to find anything that matches my car.

So, anybody, please let me know if there's a place (in colombo/elsewhere) where i can find these... Thanks in advance..!

PS : Some spareparts shop owner from K'gala told me that, I will have to buy the whole door...not the beedings alone...Is that true.???? :sad-smiley-058:

I don't think anybody will remove original beading from a door and sell you because somebody wanting to buy the door will want the beading as well.

You can get replacement beading from Darley road in particular who should be able to find you something close.

Just googled to check Darley road in the map....By the way, is Darley road nowadays called T B Jaya Mawatha...?

Quite a lot of search to do in the shops along that lenthy road I guess......Is there a specific shop there that you'd recommend that I should try first..?

But You might not fortunate to find original instead of local.

There is a another place around Delkanda , known as Pala Auto, unfortunately no contact details.

Hi.. I have also the same issue.. My car is also at 192 and 1996 manufactured. My main issue is in the glassrun channel( inner door beading). Both front glass run channels are broken into pieces so that from each broken points air is coming inside with a zoooooooo noise, when drive in a highway. Were you able to find a place for your issue?? If so could u please let me know???
