no the yellow bottles are for shining vinyl and leather, they are kind of oily, can be used as tyre shine as well, upholstery products are in transparent spray bottles..like air freshner bottles...dash and britol are good products..

That's not what I use. Mine is in a stubby yellow bottle for use on vinyl and leather only. It says it can be used as a tyre shine as well (!) Made by Multichemi industries, Sri Lanka.

yap this is original shine by dash..that is for vinyl ,leather and rubber parts only.it does have some cleaning properties, but more for a oily gloss..do not use this on seats or any fabric...

Wht do u ppl think about dash uphostery cleaner spray ? is it good and does it has the power to do the job

I think the Dash upholstery cleaner is a decent product. I cleaned my fabric floor carpets with it few weeks ago and I'm totally satisfied with the end result.

It's very cheap compared to most of the imported branded ones. i have even used it on our fabric sofa for removing some white board marker and pen marks drawn by my junior and it did a fine job. However i would suggest that it's better to apply it on a hidden smaller area of your fabric to check color fastness before using it as recommended by the manufacturer.

I will upload some pictures of my carpets with the before and after effects later so that you can decide yourself.

Fyi, the brands which are mentioned here are utter crap. avoid using them inside the car. remember that cheap things r no good.

Dash and britol seems to be decent products...if it does the job why don't go cheap...cleaning products always include same ingredients...so does your premium brand include gold dust in it?before applying it everywhere you can try applying for a smaller area and see if it has any negative effects...

I never recommed to use products that can be used as tyre shine for interior, specifically the dash and plastic pannels. As I obsearved tyre shine doen't only remove dirt from your tyre, but small reaction with rubber cause that shining brandnew look of the tyre. We can't get same look if we remove dirt completely using a brun and soap. Using such product on interior for long period will fade the original look of the interior.

If specialised interior cleaning products are out of your budget, the next best thing is water and a clean cloth. And little bit of bathing shampoo would be better option comparing to tyre shine.

Do remember that you actually breathe in the products that you put in your interior.

What crosswind point is extremely valid point. I don't know if I said this in forum before, but one of my cousin is in this chemical import business. Chemicals they import goes from detergents, food, rubber, plastic, cosmetics and everything you can imagine under the sun. Even the chocolate biscuits or lemon puff we eat has artificial flavor.. according him most Sri Lankan companies import lowest grade or cheapest products in the market.

Imagine you bath daily using a shampoo, but content of it is untested, low grade chemical. And you end up even having some cancer or something :speechless-smiley-004: So you die not even knowing what hit you.
