One of my friend having a CVT gearbox car. It is a nissan one. He needs some advise. Normally which oil should be used for gearbox oil change, oil change interval and whether need to change the oil filter. Approximately how much will it cost for oil? Please assist....

The type of oil which should be used is mentioned in the user manual. Oil change is normally recommended after first 40k kms. But it depends on driving conditions. In Sri Lanka it is better to change before 40k. The oil I used in my car was Toyota CVT oil which cost 12000/-. They did not ask to change any filter.
