Trip To Nilaveli

Hi Pals,

Planning to visit Nilaveli on 31st of this month to spend weekend there. I need an update of the road condition by a recently driven one among you towards same direction.

Here is my route: Hokandara -> Kaduwela->Belummahara->Kurunegala via Ambepussa Rd->Dambulla-> Nilaveli via Habarana Rd.

I had experienced road repair works along Ambepussa - Kurunegala stretch and also Kurunegala - Dambulla stretch when I was traveling couple of months ago. If someone can share the experience of the condition of above stretches and the rest of the route, will appreciate highly.

Try turning from Pasyala on to your left from Kandy road, Giriulla, Narammala, Wariyapola, Padeniya, Anuradhapura, Trincomalee.

Little bit far but no traffic as such and good roads. Anuradhapura Trinco stretch is deserted and has long straights.

That's the best option. 30 or 50 more. But road condition is superb.

Yes, that might be 30-40 kms more but good alternative to avoid congested roads. Thanks again!
