Do anyone have permit car/suv price list after new tax revision. Including hybrid and electric cars.

Thanks.

`Yes....car sales people. So...call them and ask....pick up the Sunday paper and go through the classifieds..there are plenty of car sales offering vehicles for permits.

Guys, what will happen to the vehicle permits under the new government? There are rumours that they will cancel the permits. If they do,  will they cancel it before the general election?

The Minister of Finance is Mr. Mahinda Rajapaksa. Why don't you give him a call?

Yes and they go showing a pic saying this is the same size as a CHr, probably trying to make a fast buck before the car gets common and the taxes come in

Awww glad to be the first one who

raized the alarm here ..

My post "Raize the new kid on the block"

Seriously though please don't screw up my first permit

Out of all the cars out there...why are you using the permit to buy a Raize ? Sell the permit...put the money you have for the Raize and then buy a decent used full sized crossover or sedan ?

and no...the Raize was first Raized by @CNX in the Japanese Car News thread on 6th of November :D so you were a bit late to the party :D ..but kids these days say arriving late is fashionable...

Looks way better than the Axio WXB in and out. Hoping to test drive one soon. With the manual transmission I guess it would be nippier than the CHR to drive.

I have the Hatch it is in a different league to the Axio, Saloon should be similar.

Hatch rides on 18 inch wheels and ride height and is fun to drive (not the usual Toyota ride / handling) saloon should not be far away in this area as well.

Manual should be fun as only gripe in my car is the rubbery CVT

yes, don't get carried away by the digital screen, it is very low resolution and basic compared to what you get in new Mercs, Peugeot, Audi

I would have preferred the usual gauges with info display in the middle which by the way gives reasonable amount of information.

You will need to add around JPY 250K for documentation, insurance, shipping, commission of the exporter.

Price for base car additional features like audio, carpets, reverse camera etc will increase the price

Plus you need to add the registration and road tax fees in Japan for the car to be released out of the Japanese Toyota dealer. Yes when you deregister the car the person who deregisters the car gets the refund for road taxes..but usually your agent will keep (most) of it  (although the price he gives you will include it :) )
