Civic 02 3000 RPM at 100 kmph

Hello everyone..

I recently bought a civic 02 Exi Manual. When I was driving down the highway i noticed the rpm reached 3000.

Is this normal for this type of Honda vehicle?

My other vehicle is below 2000 rpm at the same speed

Highly appreciate your views
