I bet my suspensions are a bit hard right now because you can't get that wow effect. So I need to get that wow effect that smoothens almost all bumps in the road. I'm thinking of buying a 4 KYB excel Gs, you think they are better than OEM ones?

No idea. I never had to change suspension components (except once when a coil spring broke / got misaligned after a particularly nasty bump- Replaced them with a pair of OEM springs and called it a day as the shocks were fine...) Personally I would go with an OEM setup if you need to swap them out as I would want to keep the compression rates etc as close to stock as possible in order not to affect the handling etc. (No point making it too soft: That doesn't work either)

I bagged it for 4 mil and my budget was 4.5 so I had 500k of extra spending to fix the tiny stuff in the car.

True that, Americans hate the brand more than any country, as a brand Nissan can't match with Toyota in USA , even though in my opinion the 400z is way cooler than the new Supra.

Currently up for sale but they are asking a hefty amount?. Still in some ways totally worth it

This has a 2JZ in it. Its a gem of an engine, but I prefer this to be all Nissan.

How much he asking?

The Red TT with J plates wants 8.5million. Has some mods, is mint. But the guy before him got it for 2.5million few years ago. There was a thread here abt that car.

I prefer a 300z in red tbh.

Wow! I actually like that picture of it, debadged and all. Sorry @Devinda_Z I am a bit of a self admitted mas-kade look fan after all... but lose the colour on the rims and the lettering (probably just vinyl anyways) and you have a very nice ride.

Do it @fiat fan ! Perfect opportunity to pull a @Komisiripala and buy it for yourself, claiming its an early anniversary / late wedding present for the wife :D

I wish bro ?

Can’t bring myself around to spend that much cash on one.

Wife is actually a big petrol head. She prefers Euros and unique cars. Her motto is- if you see another example within a day, it’s not rare enough! ?

If I can’t buy a 300z, I’ll pawn my testies for a 400z ?

@IndulaC best place I would advice for you to is to visit the holy grail called "Yahoo Japan Auction" and browse around there.

When I had my Legacy this was my best friend to get stuff in. This at times do tend to get a bit a expensive but you get the original deal. That link will get you closer to the parts you might want if something needs replacing.

Its not the same colour but came across this as well.

The switch might be similar to other models in Nissan in the same year so you might want to check similar cars in that era as well, who knows might get lucky.

Happy hunting ?

Yeah I found a similar one from Alibaba but with this situation prevailing in the country I don't think anything will be get delivered to your doorstep soon.

And thanks for this, the extra price you pay is so worthy because of the quality of the product. Will definitely look up parts here. But on other side will they ship to Sri Lanka like ebay and Ali?

Yes, it might be hard at the moment to get stuff into SL with the post and custom proceedings but once hopefully everything blows over you can start emptying your wallet ? till then be calm and carry on.

So to explain this a bit further. I use Chrome as it translates Jap to Eng so I know what the heck I am looking at.

lets take the following example https://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/g459953821 as something I want to bring from Japan.

Then I go to this site https://www.fromjapan.co.jp/en/ (Create an account here)
on the search bar (FromJapan site), copy and paste the heading (YahooJapanAuction site) which is coloured in grey. (You need to copy the Japanese wording and not the one that is translated to English). Once you do this you will get the below result.

https://www.fromjapan.co.jp/en/item/search/日産 ティアナ TNJ32 J32%2FPJ32 純正 オーディオパネル エアコン吹き出し口 操作スイッチ ハザード付/Al_11_Yh_RaZoSuBpOmRm_N_N_0A00ja00_N/lgk-link_search?view_type=detail

For some items you can bid or purchase it without the need to bid for it. It might sound like a long process but once you get an idea, its actually easy.

Thanks will definitely look into it. Currently I'm in search for an entertainment system upgrade and I really want an authentic Japanese setup but couldn't find any?
