PCV Valve Grommet fell inside engine

Hi All,

The PCV Valve rubber grommet fell inside when I was trying to change it as a DIY job :(

I can’t see it and I feel it’s somewhere inside the engine, is it a bad idea to use the car with a rubber part like that inside.

Inside the engine means inside the cylinder? How did it fall inside?

If it fell inside the cylinder, DON'T START THE CAR. Take it to a place with a borescope. They can remove whatever is inside without removing the cylinder head.

Thanks for your reply, no it was not inside the cylinder. I was able to get the rubber grommet out after removing the rapper cover.
