Well, you might be surprised at the rarity of the parts that some of these parts people carry. Managed to buy a pair of Super VR4 Headlights the other day from Taiyo. To put things in perspective, only about a 1000 Super VR4 were ever made.

Hit me up if you want a contact there. I also managed to find an inner door handle for 1250. The last inner door handle I bought was from eBay Germany and paid around 5000 for that.

Oh Yes, thanks charlie, I will send you a DM for the contact :)

Guys small concern.. In cold start, when I shift the gear to D, and accelerate, it takes around 4-5 seconds for the car to move.. it started happenning for like 3 days now.. No matter how hard I accelerate, it stay still for like 5 seconds.. But after running, and shifting the gear to D from P, then the car moves as usual in less than a second.. what would be the reason? I changed gear oil 20,000km's back and its not a CVT gear box.

Sounds like early signs that your gearbox is on it's way out. Best get it shown to someone who specialises in Autoboxes.

Hi Guys, just wanna know if the gear box comes with the engine itself? I mean if i buy an engine for presea, will the gear box also be included?

Err... no it will not, unless you specifically ask for and buy the gearbox as well. The engine and Gearbox are two separate mechanisms.

ohh ok... lets say i drop a SR20DET engine to the presea... in that case could you let me know what are the other parts I need to replace to make it compatible with the engine? Like gear box, computer box, and what else apart from the engine?

Replacing the engine with a different one than original is a totally different story than just putting an identical replacement (GA15DE) engine. The SR20DET is a bit of a drastic example due to the fact that it's a turbocharged engine with a lot more power than your original GA15DE. This means you might need to change your engine mounting, relocate some of the electronics/components to make room for the larger engine, install better cooling (i.e radiator) and even change the drive shafts to accommodate for the changes in length of the engine/gearbox. Plus, if the SR20DET doesn't come with the ECU and stuff, you'd have to buy it separately and wire them up to the existing harnesses. Also, you'd need to make room for the intercooler behind the front bumper. With an upgrade like that, it's only advisable to upgrade brakes as well.

If you replace the existing engine with a similar GA15DE, you don't have to worry about whether the engine comes with an ECU and harnesses or not (they usually do) because you can use your existing ones. You can also use your existing drive shafts, and wouldn't have to make any suspension, mounts, cooling or other structural changes to the car. It should technically be "plug and play".

Why would you want to replace the engine though? Wasn't the issue with your transmission?

It's GA15DE. Not QG15DE. Thanks for pointing out @NRX.

Ah right now I get it... Yes the problem was with the transmission.... But I was wondering, if i go for the existing engine's transmission - one day if I want to drop a bigger engine, then i will have to again change the transmission box as well... so that's why was wondering if it was an easy process to drop an engine now itself... seem's like Im better off leaving the engine be and changing only the transmission for now... thanks for the advice davy :)

Davy is right. Consider an SR16 variant if you are interested in a SR motor. DE or VE.

Davy has hit the nail right on the head, the SR20DET would probably be too much engine for the car and you'd end up having to strengthen so many things that it will be a never ending project. The wiser choice for now would be to just swap out the gearbox if your engine is fine.

If you're hell bent on an engine swap then I think a standard SR20DE would be enough of an upgrade with a useful bump in power, that won't need the level of beefing up that the turbo version will need. You could also look at the SR16VE as found in the Pulsar VZRs like @Pericles mentioned.

Worthwhile to keep in mind that the legal standing of higher capacity engine swaps is a bit of a grey area at the moment.

So this thing was there ever since I bought the car 2 years back... after running a good 10km's when I accelerate in 2nd and 3rd I hear a rattling noise from the engine.. like a whispering 'gada gada gada gada' noise, and when the gear reaches 4th, it goes away... this noise, ever since i bought the car has NOT increased whatsoever.. the same level for the 20,000km's I drove for the past 2 years...  just wondering what this sound may mean if I would ask?

Are they using Japanese parts ? What are the parts being replaced ? That's if they have told you that ?
