The Southern Motor Sports Club which is affiliated to Sri Lanka Automobile Sports (SLAS) – Governing Body in Sri Lanka for Motor Sports, since 1997, has been the pioneer in TSD Rallies in Sri Lanka. The history of the Southern Motors Sports Club (SMSC) dates back to February 1997 when it came into existence as a result of great efforts made by a group of well-known motor racing and motor rallying personalities from the South. Since its inception, the club has conducted a number of challenging motor sports events. The Southern Rally and the Southern Eliyakanda Hill Climb, which are the annual events of the club, are participated by almost all known drivers and riders in Sri Lanka. The objective of forming such a club was to promote and develop this sport in the Southern Part of Sri Lanka.

This club is for all the owners of Honda CRV's in Sri Lanka
