Hi Folks, I came across a Citreon C5, 2003 Brand new, with leather interior and electric seats. Low milleage and very well used vehicle. Can anyone tell me how much is it worth and whether its advisable to buy a Citreon in SL since the second hand market is very low on those cars. I just got a chance to drive that vehicle and really enjoyed the speed and the comfort. At the moment, I have a Peugeot 406. Waiting for your advise on this. Thanks in advance

Dear friends, Malaysia had a vision of being a developed country in 2020. But i think they have achieved it before 20yrs. Have you ever driven a Proton car? It has all the comfort & features as a Japanese car. And its exported to Aussie and to many European countries, including UK. Now Malaysia is Assembling Toyota cars also. Y cant our people do the same thing? Y do we have to go for used and recon cars if we have our own. Do you think we lack in labour, design or creativity? I dont think so. Sri Lankan labour is known for their perfection and commitment. Y cant our politicians ask the Japanese to open up a plant here in SL to assemble Japanese vehicles rather than asking them for military assistants. Orelse if the Government help the Micro fellows, I hope they will come up with comfortable, reliable and good looking vehicles.

Dear friend, No politician is gonna save us or does good to the people. Everybody wants to enjoy the luxury life what they have got and some how to retain in power. This war is a bull shit. Do you think anyparty can win this. NO.... Sri Lanka is on its way to be another Sudan, Somalia or Ethiopia. Im not supporting any politician or any party. We are on a auto mobile discussion and we should always try to promote this industry. The way, the Government is increasing the price of fuel is a crime. This wont allow a middle class citizen to drive his own vehicle to work. If this bugger is gone, there will be another bugger. Mind you,all are buggers and no one is a perfect leader.Why should government give duty free permits to a certain category of ppl. So how about the rest of the professionals and knowledge workers?

Will Mr President go on a bullet proof micro car? Like the indian politicians using Ambassador. I dont think he will. He needs his BMW. These fellows talk crap just to get the attention and the claps of the audiance. First ask him to implement it to the parliament members. If so, the goverment will fall within one day.

As a citizen of a country, we all should pay taxes and for a government to administrate properly and for a decent spread among the rich and the poor. But are these taxes used properly for the intent use. Thats the problem in our country. The difference is not between the rich and the poor, but between politicians and normal people like us.

As someone questioned earlier, can anyone tell me the difference between RS and VIRS? Can anyone explain the performance machanism between a RS manual and RS Auto(Does triptronic gears come with only Automatic transmissions?)

Hi experts, Im planning to buy my first car in a couple of weeks time. My main focus is to get hold of a stylish, comfortable and super performance machine. Im planning to use the car for atleast one and a half years and I dont want to loose much on disposal value. Im ready to spend around 1.8 million. Option #1 I came across a superbly used Honda RS - EK3 2000 model with triptronic gears, full bodykit and leather interior. Option #2 Honda Civic - ES8 ( 2000 model) Other options Hyundai Sonata (Hmatic) Peuguet 406 Primera TP12 (I dont think i can get this to fit my budget) Pls help me with this. U'll are the experts, so pls feel free to give your expert opinion. Thanks in advance
