I understand there is a risk elements attached to this , However I will check the possiblity of bringing down the Original engine failing which I would'nt mind settlling down for a carinia engin without 4WD option as i am not planning to use this for off road. Cost wise i dont think there will be a major difference between Original engine and the Carina engine.

Friends please let me know if any of you have converted a year 2000 4WD Santa fee to a diesel. I need to know the type of the engine to be used and a place to get this done. Thanks Jith

As corsswind said getting balance payment (Which is not covered by Finance) before signing and handing over the document is very very important, once it happned to me as i signed and handed over all the documents to see vehicle transfer has taken place . Luckly that guy was nice enough to make the balance payment.

Thanks guys, finally this are what I wanted to know, a true experience by those who actually own Hybrids. On a lighter note- Guys who believe that searching is the brainiest thing one can do, In the public forums it’s not a must that you have to make comments for each and every post that appear, its wiser to abstain from updating if you are new to the subject or do not have relevant experience than being exposed.

I need to know the mileage provided by Toyota Prius 2nd and 3rd Gen and insight and Civic under local conditions, It’s the day today experience by hybrid owners within Colombo traffic and suburbs. Best people to answer this question are the members who actually own Hybrids.

HI Guys, I am looking forward to buy a Hybrid but have not decided on a model as I do not have much info on the fuel economy of the Hybrids. I require first-hand experience by Hybrid owners on the fuel economy and what kind to driving pattern is required to get that mileage. Thanks.

N16 and FB15 are in the same class and I believe N16 doesn’t have independent suspensions. N16 price is slightly higher but FB15 has a good resell value.

Friends, Thanks for sharing your experience. It cannot be due to the driving style because I am a cool driver ; I am getting around 10 KM with my automatic FB15 under the same conditions. I have no issue with the pulling power of the car, actually the pulling is better than the FB15. But what I noticed different to FB15 is that engine rev of the march is little advance in the idle. I am not sure about the tire sizes, it’s with alloys but I will check whether the rim size is different

I am having a Nissan March EFI 1995 model with automatic transmission. It’s a good car but my issue is it's higher fuel consumption. In Colombo i am experiencing as low as 6km per Ltr. Recently did a tune up from a place @ cotta road but there was no improvement as such. My questions are, Is it the normal consumption ? Because some people told me Nissan March is not good in petrol. Is there a way to improve this ? Is 1.3 engine does better than 990 cc.
