Hi, I have to replace the instrument cluster of my toyota townace (KR42), auto, Petrol van due to a defect in the digital odometer. 1. I found only a "Diesel" one, So if I fix that will there be any problems ? 2. If I change the cluster can I have my original odometer reading (current reading)? Thank You..

Hai, I'm pretty much new to automobile and this is my first vehicle, so please bare with dumb questions..My townace (KR42) odometer display has a defect. (see the image below) It started with a small black spot at the edge and now it's grown up to cover the last two digits of the odometer. Can I replace the display? Is it available to buy, only the display? How much would it cost? Are there any specialists handle these kind of things or just the normal auto electrician can handle it? I posted here before going to a garage to get an idea about the problem, pls help me on this? Thank You.

Hey, I have to change the 4 tires of my townace (KR42) van. Now It has 185/70/R14 SILVERSTONE tires. There are two things I wanna know.. 1. I'm planning to get bigger tires (bigger balloon size) (something like 195/70/R14). Are there any other disadvantages apart from the low fuel milage, by fixing bigger tires ? 2. I'm gonna buy one of the following tire brands which has similar price tags (for the size 185/70/R14). Are they good? Please add your suggestions. It's pretty low mileage for a reconditioned van that was imported a good seven years ago. @wug I won't use the vehicle for long runs daily, just for light usage. I'm looking to buy a townace KR42 and I came across a vehicle with following specs. townace kr 42 , Petrol. GL , Auto , Flat Roof , 5-door , manufacturing year 1999 , Alloy Wheels, Full Options with AirBag, ABS, Crystal Light, Full rotatable seats. The color is silver with good engine and body condition. and the number is HF 0XXX My first problem is that this vehicle has 67000km milage on odometer, Can it be correct or tampered? What could be a good price for this vehicle in good condition?

I found a nissan caravan GL (manufacturing year 2000) with the number JK xxxx. full option (ps, p mirrors, full adjustable seats, auto gear). this van is four wheel (not full time). it has dual a/c. it's body condition prity much ok with original paint. Engine also sounds nice. Now my question is that "is this vehicle is valuble for arround 2.8 million?" please help me on this matter and give me a quick reply as I don't have a that much knowledge about the market prices. thanx.
