  1. hi gys i drive a swift HTS 51 manual built in 2001 i have a few problems in which i want to get some advice i am not an expert in cars so i may even make some mitakes in the posting so please bair with me 1 some times when i start the car the EPS indicator on the dash board comes on and the steering becomes very hard my present garage owner told me to switch off the car wait for some time and then start it works but i wantto know what happens and what i should do about it the indication does not comes on all the time but specially when i start following a stop after a few meter drive either in the 1 or 5th gear 2since few weeks the CHECK ENGINE SIGN comes on and stays on EVE WITHOUT THE EPS sign not being on the car runs normally and after few kilometers the indicator goes off in its own the AUTO POWER MIRROR button is not working and has been disconnected the drivers side window is not working cause of that however the other windows are working through their own and main pannel switches i am living in panadura and please can any of you guys recommend an honest place to go near by or even in the colombo area thanks a lot bye nuwan

  3. Hi, I drive a Swift and have a need to change the tyres. I got the following tyre (175/70/14) prices form a Trye Shop in Dehiwala. 1. Dunlop (Japan) Rs. 9000.00 (185) 2. Dunlop (Japan) Rs. 8250.00 (175) 3. Dunlop (Indonesian) Rs. 6900.00 (185) 4. Pirelli Rs. 11000.00 (185) 5. Pirelli Rs. 8400.00 (175) 6. Bridgeston Rs. 9100.00 (175) Please comment whether these prices specially for Trye size (175/70/14) are reasonable. Thanks. KJ

    hi guys i drive a suzuki swift sports version the tires are low profile 16 size i brought it from a dealer near maharagama he said these were the original tires the ride is bumpy my uncle suggested to get the tyres and the rims changes it has a body kit any place where i can exchange the tires
  6. hi guys i own a suzuki swift 1.3 manual R type made in japan recently i did the engine tuning at rajagirya i saw when i put in the ignition key and turn on the car( not going the full circle and putting the car on to first gear ) the TACHO METER IS already showing some reveloutons around the 1.5 mark is that normal or is it due to the tuning does it rduces the fuel efficacy any ideas guys

  12. hi guys i am a doctor who just started my carrer and i want to buy my first car my budget is around 12.5 lacks and i will be able to loan out a another two or three the thing is i want to buy a small car thats good on fuel as i am still establishing my practice i love the starlet and the vitz but i heard that a maruti alto does a 18 per liter is that true, , but what i want is acar for 5 people,,,, adults i mean i hope to use it for five years,, so is worth to buy a engkish numbered car please give an advice on a good budget car as my family has never owned one before is the chaverolet good on fuel hope for some replies can any one tell why the march is cheap doesnt it do good on fuel thanks cheers
