    GUYS. Merry Christmas! Finally I managed to FIX my fuel consumption problem. Reason was the Automatic transmission OIL. the first owner never change that and it was so thick when my garage guy removed it. So my gears were not properly changed. Thanks to my Garage guy no the Chevy does more than 12 KM per Liter in city with A/C (I checked more than 3 times.) Will check on highway soon. Thank you all for comments will contact u all if I want any Advice. Thanks AUTOLANKA.

    Tkx Don. My Tech guy said the first owner did not touch the engine nor he change any Oil or anything. SO do u think I have to change Automatic tx Oil and Engine oil to see is there a change. Car running meter is More than 50K now.

    Hi All, Any expert tell me what should I do next if the throttle n plug cleanup did not improve my fuel consumption ? Also I change the Air filter. Please HELP!

    Hey Chevrolet Cruze Owners, I did a engine tuneup for my Chevy (2004) . throttle n plug cleanup then Clean n fixed the A/C Cabin Fliter (Actually it was a one lengthy filter ) Now it does around 9KM per Ltr in smooth road but with traffic does 7-8KM per Ltr. So it seems still need some more work. Any suggestions? Can I go for Scan or can I change ALL THE OIL (Auto, Break, Engine) and Change Air Filter? I am sure this should do at least 11KM per Ltr.

    Hey mumbo_s5 Did you do the inspection? How was it? please share some experiences. I want to do it because Chavy fuel efficient is little bad (8KM per ltr+)

    @maersk They have only Bridgestone. its really expensive. comes around Rs13377. @SREE Thanks dude. I went to this big tire house near hevlocktown Kowil and they offered 2 GT (Indonesia) tires for Rs 15700 (each 7850) I guess that was a good deal and so many places said that they do not have this tire size when I went to pay Cash. They said 30K KM are recommended Anyhow Tire guy gave me Tip: he said I can buy Suzuki Swift Allow set around 28000 and and put then that tire size ( i guess its 14") is available everywhere. If you know any good tire place just keep posting so others Chevrolet Cruze owners will get to know that.

    Hi Experts, I need a help! I wanted to replace my old (bad) rear tires on my Chevrolet Cruze and the size is 165/65 15. I went to few places and got following prices Slave Island GT (Indonesia) - 1 tire Rs 8400 some said 9200 Bridgestone (japan) - 1 tire Rs 13500 Sumo (Korean) - 1 tire Rs 9400 Some Thailand tire - 1 tire Rs 8950 Kalobowila - Dehiwala Bridgestone (japan) - 1 tire Rs 14300 GT - not available Near Havlock town GT (Indonesia) - 1 tire Rs 7900 Bridgestone (japan) - 1 tire Rs 13900 ALL of them told this is rare tire to be found. is that TRUE? as I know there are so may Chevrolet Cruze in this country so why its hard to find this tire size? I am so confused why there is no flat rate? Where can I find the factory/agent to buy direct? Do you guys know any better place? What is the best tire brand? tire comes with warranty ?     Hey guys, Thanks a lot for your answers! I still couldn't check whter my Chevrolet Cruze is 4WD or not, due to rain I cant go under the car cus its park outside @Crosswind, i forgot to reply regarding Cabin filters. I found 2 filters inside my cabin 2 squire dirty filters How much you guys think these filters will cost? @maersk Thanks dued. I tried medium cover but it is not enough for chavy Cruze. length was ok but from 2 door sides it was not enough So as you all suggested I will go for a Computer scan first. any suggestions other than A M W for Chavy cruze computer scan?

    Thanks @Crosswind and @Amila. @Crosswind your awesome! I will check this by tomorrow and I wish this will not be 4WD I purchased month ago and I hope 1st owner didnt even bother touch the engine. So I have to go for tuneup. Do you guys thinks I have to go for computer scan? I check with A*W and they said its 1500+Vat for Chevrolet. Will that help me to check the whole condition of car? including fuel prob (if it is not a 4WD)

    Hi Chevrolet owners/experts. I bought a Chevrolet cruze and noticed it does only 8KM per liter I tried 3 4 times filling upto 30Ltrs but still the same. What do I have to do? this is 2004 Chevrolet (1.3CC) and it is in a very good condition (as you can see from the out side) Also I want to buy 2 Air Filters (A/C) and do you know the place to buy those? If you know tell me where can I buy Chevrolet/swift Car cover and some rubber carpets at low cost. Tkx much guys!! G @ ADMIN: post this on Other Car section too.. I found 2005 model for 1.475M but I dont think its good price since its 2005 model n Gen2 manufacture told there were some problem with that model. I heard Proton Agent in SL is sucks but still I dunot have any experience with them. I found a guy who deal with Proton Parts IF you guys knw any place to look for GEN2 please PM me (send me a msg), cus GEN 2's hardly come for online ads this is lil urgent guys.. GURU

    Hey, After all I decided to buy Proton Gen 2 and I am searching a good Car. If you know any place to look please lemme know. Prefer Cherry RED/ Black/ Blue (other colors will consider too) It should be 2006 or after model. Please let me know ASAP. What will be the best price for second hand Gen2 now?     @ Dilly, I was looking Gen 2 for sometimes and the price range was 1.3-1.5M I got few offers but everyone mentioned about the 2nd hand market. I knw its a very good car n the luk is awesome. So jst think abt resale vale. U may find Gen 2 1.3M iff you digg into d markt lil bit. What is the color of this Gen2?

    Nice car Pericles. if possible get side view n back view pics @ evergreen; That shuld be one of the lucky deal, cus so far I didnt c any 2005 model going at that price. Love to have it that @ that price. anywaz I got two deals 2006 RED Gen 2, ask 16 Laks Ash 2004 Gen 2 ask, 14.50Laks there is anothre Ash color Gen 2 didnt chk it yet but its 2002/3 Also i saw 1.6 Gen 2 on Autolanka and ask 1.7M seems lil high price. Still I am on a hunt if u giys c anything plx Msg me.

    @Pericles., I nvr c a Black Gen 2 in SL. If you can put up some pics plz do. I can imagin how nice ur car will be with Gen 2 look comes in Black color Yes I nvr heard of any Gen 2 tiptronic gear system. @evergreen, If i can find 2005 early for 1.5M or less I may consider but lets c whos going to sell their Gen 2 here. As per the fact I rcvd it seems no more than 100 Gen2's in SL. and few Spcl editions.

    Thank you Pericles & evergreen. @ Pericles: This was new info for me, alwaz I thought 1.3CC will be better on fuel compare to 1.6CC. I got few PM's from GEN 2 owners and will be asking the best price from them. What is the color of ur car, Pericles? Any idea to sell it ? @ evergreen, Do you think I can find 1.6CC Gen 2 around 1.5M or less? If anyone has GEN 2 for sale lemme know, even @ a sale lemme knw plz.

Is it 2005 model? what is the curent use market price for that? @DarkangeL; Last few months I am following Gen 2 cars but so far I didnt c GEN2 CPS in sri lanka. I found Gen2 modified version with 2tone interior YOM 2003. It was the best I came a cross so far and the price he asked Rs 15.75 laks. Also I found 2005 and 2006 models at the range of Rs 16laks and 17laks. But I would like to have Manual 1.3CC NOT 1.6CC since it does lil more fuel use. So if any one have 1.3CC manual/Auto please lemme know. Any GEN 2 Owners here who can comment on fuel consumption ???? like to c few feedbaks How about spareParts ??? any othre agent than main agent??

I would like to know som details abut this amazing car call "Proton Gen 2", I am looking fwd to buy proton Gen2 (still looking a good car) and would like to know some details about this car. So far i found out it comes 1.3CC Manual and 1.6CC Auto/Manual. Like to know the petrol consumption? and part availability? If you have experience in this car please give a best advice experts welcome guys. also would like to know about Manufacture year and market price. GURU
