Hey guys, Trust u all can help me in this. This happened few weeks back suddenly and now happens on and off... The car tends to stop when i'm reversing it to a slope.. Whenever the engine stops it's impossible to start... feel like fuel gets cut off... But when i push the car a bit forward from where it was and then it starts in no time... (This is not thallu start by the way)... This is what i experienced.. Really cant find any faulty since on the run it's so smooth and has never stopped in traffic or on way... It's just that it stops when i reverse to a slope.... I checked if it was the sensor near the wiper motor but it's not the case... Recently replaced the petrol filter and did a injector clean up as well... But this prob happened before i did these... Really appreciate any expertise comments... Thanks. Cheers...

Since this is korean assembled will there be spares to buy? Also does the new rexton spares match with this, since the outer appearance looks exactly same as to the brand new available in market. Hi GMI, I checked every thing in the list above. Recently got a 74 degree and replaced also. A/C works fine and the condensor does'nt get hot even. But the only problem is the heat level goes brond half level and stops at a certain point. Also this happens only in day time. I replaced the water pump recently too. The prob is the temp rises beyond half only when i turn on A/C in day time. The only factor to look at is the radiator. But that is cleaned recently as well. Just need to know whether it's ok to run like this neglecting the increase in temp beyond half. I have an smiths temp guage thus don't know whether there is an faulty as these guages are pretty old. Also what is the Ampere level of the alternator which comes along with the A/C fitted engines?Is there enough capacity to charge a battery when A/C, Lights and Stereo is switched on. This is coz most people say that the alternator which comes with this engine doesn't charge properly and you should go for a Nissan march 80 amp alternator. Is this the case?

Hi nira, Are those belts reliable coz i found a belt from panchikawatte that place i think and the A/C guy said it wont last more than couple of hours. Also it dint look like the other belts you get (I mean it looked like pure rubber). I cant exactly recall what you call that type of belts. Would you recommend the belt you are reffering (i mean usage)??

Hi guys, Nees to know a place to buy the small belt which comes for the alternator and compressor? The belt size is 22. For most minis 23 is the belt size and im goin through tough time to find this. Looked in panchikawatte and at cosmin and sumana. Guys any place that i can find this for sure?? Appreciate your response soon

Hi GMI, Will there be any kind of impact for the performance of the engine by using any of these compressors?? I mean the compressor model you get for 1000cc and 1275 cc is same rite ?? Or is there any differance?? Can overheating occur due to a default in compressor??

Hi John, Well i have fitted extra fan under the mud guard as u have mentioned. Every other thing looks ok. Is it becoz of the compressor the temp rise? Coz i fixed the originalk mini compressor. How much is the suzuki compressor? How's the aligning? will check on the AC clutch as mentioned.. Really need to get things correct as heating is a bothering issue. HI all, Need some comments on this. I went ahead with my A/C project and now im experiencing a bit of overheating (Car doesn't boil tho). Temp meter indicating more than half I've fitted all original stuff and fixed a side fan as well. The things i din't fix is a thermostat valve and an idle up since the A/C guys said it's not essential. The prob is even without switching 0n the A/C the temp rises after doing around 15 Km. This didn't happen before i fitted A/C and temp didn't come to half. Any specific reason for this? What should i look in to as this has become a issue for me!!! Guys need your help on this pls......

Hi Guys, Let me know if any guys have side mirrors for sale or any place to buy?? Tried cosmic and few other mini spare places. They don't have the square fibre mirror. Also what is the recommended thermostat to use when fitting A/C? Is it the 74 degree? Is there any bramd for this?? Recommrnded place to buy this too? Thanks and Cheers

Hi guys, Want to know whether we can fit an A/C system in to any Mini engine?? This is coz some say that A/C system might not suite older engines and will only suit Metro engines.. Is this the case?? Will a 1980 1000cc engine which has been rebuilt an year back bear the A/C system without over heating?? Also what are the most important thing to note when fixing it??? (Eg: Idle up, supporting Fans to cool the engine and etc..) GMI & Miniace seek your advice too. Thanks Cheers

Hi guys,, Share ur ideas on this pls.. Recently i did a tappet adjustment .. It wa done by a good (well known guy for minis)mechanic and with the use of tappet guage.. but still the noise is dare.. Previously it dint have the noise but according to him the tappets were tightaned alot.. Guys Is it so bad for the engine coz this noise is becoming a headache to me.. I dint experience any overheating before eventhough the tappets were tighter.. What is the best solution for this???? Thanks guys.. Mini experts pls advice on this...

Hi .. If u are lokking for 10 inch let me know mate coz i got 4 wheels(including tires).. Mind u 10 inch is comfortable and easy to handle.. Cheers

Hi guys jst want to get an solution for a similar problem.. The prob is when the car is not in start my stereo gives gud sound (with quality bass).. But as soon as i start the car the quality of bass sound decreases.. (My car is fitted with a beat silencer) Any idea why this happens? Solutions??
