I've been told that you can install the rear disc brakes from a Prado into hilux. I don't know how if this information is accurate at all.

Thanks Cruiserhead. I'm talking about the one on Janpan friendship road. You can see the back / side of parliament from the ground. The place is not closed off. Its only closed off during the parliament days. I don't think Thulhiriya is a real option since I don't have all the equipment necessary. Still looking for a reasonably priced snorkel. maybe you're talking about a different place?? This doesn't seem to be a hardcore place. Its highly unlikely that you'd get stuck unless you have bald tires. In anycase I've got a winch. I should be there next weekend.

No no not complaining about the condition of a road. Just commenting on a place where you can take your 4x4 for a bit of mud fun... After the over night rain... looks very very muddy today. Does anyone know any other places close by for a bit of 4x4 fun?

Do any of you guys goto the mud hole near Parliament? This is the road that goes behind the parliament. There is a large area full off water and mud. Not many people seem to go there. Been going there for the last few weeks... Its large area and boys play cricket and all in the dry part but there is huge muddy area.

if you don't mind me asking, where did u get the rims? and how much? I'm looking to get my Hilux into a bit of mud Thanks..

Wouldn't a new pump cost hell of a lot? like 100,000++ ?? Anyways still didn't have time to try out Klevenberg. I was hoping that there would be places that take the pump and injectors and bench test them for correct pressure / calibration. Ohh well.. lets see what happens..

Hello all, I've been a member of AL for a while but never posted anything. Could anyone recommend me a place I can goto to get a diesel fuel injection pump (mechanical type) serviced and calibrated? This is for a Toyota Landcruiser. I gave it to the agent twice and they just keep messing it up more & more. Any reputed place anyone can recommend? Thanks in advance Malinda.
