hi guys, i have been looking for Maruti 800 cars in last few weeks and found that most of sellers are just brokers and they have the car with open papers. This was true for around 95% of the sellers. what is going on? Where can i find true sellers? What could be the cause of this? What is the maximum i should pay for 2006, KB or KC vehicle with console/side beeding and tray? Thanks

hi all, i have a civic EK3 multimatic and my gear box gave me some problems last week. As instructed by some guys i bought a recon multimatic gear box for 63K, but later decided to repair the old one. I no longer need the recon one and would like to sell it for the same price. Im prepared to give a 2 months warranty so if something happens during this period i will refund the money. Please let me know if any one needs it.

hi, i've replaced the old multimatic in my civic EK3 with a reconditioned one. However with this new one, vehicle jumps back when i put it to reverse and give some gas. This does not happen in forward gear. Is this something i need to worry about? How often would a recon multimatic fail? is it possible to fix the old one?

hi all, i have a 98 EK3 with multimatic gear box. last week it failed completely to the extent that vehicle did't move either in R or D. As instructed by a multimatic specialist i replaced gear oil filter and cleaned valve body. But this did't work. Since i had no option, i completely replaced it with a recon one(65K). This new one works fine and have no issues with it. Just for fun i took the old one home and removed valve body and found that some wires powering a solenoid are totally broken. This must have happened during valve body re-installation after cleaning. Im sure this old box should work fine, but i can't swap due to huge cost before verifying that it really works. Therefore im thinking of verifying the valve body by fitting it to some other multimatic, so that if it works, i can install it back and get back the money i paid for the recon. I can't do this with the one i bought because still its in the warranty period (only 2 weeks). please help me to find a multimatic for this.. thanks

sh"t...... I already put ATF to it, because i never knew multimatcs are CVT's! I called staff*ord and they asked me to bring the vehicle to them to refill with correct fluid. According to them filling with ATF does not have a short term effect.. (its not like pumping diesel to a petrol vehicle).

hi all, thanks for all the advice. i think i better sell off this and buy a manual. any idea about the market value for this. here are some specs of the vehicle: EK3, year 1998 virs multimatic, VTEC built in navigation with touch button controls for AC, blower, etc ABS, dual Air bags, power aerial, full option. Excellent condition. color black. registration number : GG-5XXX.
