What is the reply you received from Honda Japan? I had same issue after 60,000 km and wrote Honda Japan. They informed this to Stafford and Stafford contacted me. According to Stafford they were not in a position to do the repair FOC as I didn't import this via Stafford. They charged me around Rs.65,000 to clean the Pistons and rings. I am facing the same issue now after 127,000 km. Now the repair cost is around Rs.250,000 in Stafford (Replacement of Piton kit).

As there is a recall order from Honda Stafford must do it FOC.
