  1. I once posted a lot of facts about Chuck Norris. Here are a few, just to remind you of the greatness of the man. The dinosaurs looked at Chuck Norris the wrong way once. ONCE. Chuck Norris does not hunt because the word hunting infers the probability of failure. Chuck Norris counted to infinity – twice. Chuck Norris has already been to Mars; that's why there are no signs of life there. Chuck Norris sleeps with a night light. Not because Chuck Norris is afraid of the dark, but the dark is afraid of Chuck Norris. Chuck Norris' penis is so large that it actually warps the fabric of space-time. Indeed some physicists now theorise that the passage of time is merely a by-product of Norris' colossal erections. This is known as the "Chuck Norris Big Cock Theory of Space-Time". Chuck Norris is whatsup and will be at Pila on the 22nd.
  2. kill bill, I have to say, your writing style, vocabulary and grasp of the English language reminds me strongly of another regular poster on this forum. Anyway, please tell us who this G person is because we'd like to know as well.
  3. I wonder if all the Mighty SOHCs and Tuned i-Chips International will make an appearance.
  4. From the sounds of it, you'll need the US Marines to keep the peace. f**k Solheim, Iz On Like Donkey Kong.
  5. The turnout was poor because nobody wanted to drive to Katu to eat a Katta just for some silly drags. In fact, Katu is such a hell-hole nobody goes there unless they absolutely have to. Shakir, I think your boy may be referring to the Kurunegala Road Races, which are advertised on the front-page of Autolanka. That is proper road-racing though, and not just a straight-line thrash.
  6. Who is Whatsup anyways? Do you guys know? Or are you guys just going to start beating up on everybody that looks suspicious?
  7. Nigel had a series of unfortunate mechanical issues that didn't do justice to his performance. The starting grid lottery for upto 1400 and upto 1600 was absolute bullshit. Things like that have no place in racing, especially at a place like Fox Hill where so few overtaking opportunities are available. A low lottery pick cost the yellow Suzuki a definite win in upto 1400. Unfortunately for Ishraq, that black CRX hit him twice in two races. In fact, in the second race, had he not been hit, Ishraq would have definitely caught the leaders and given them a hard time.
  8. The reason I ask is because I've been hearing stories of some so-called 'gangsters' showing up to sort out some issues. Aight, the 22nd it is then. Should be fun.
  9. Guys, what exactly is happening on the 22nd? Is this an Autolanka get-together? Is this some kind of co-ordinated gang-bang? Is Jenson Button going to be there to sign autographs? Are there going to be any drags? Everybody is talking about the 22nd as if all hell is going to break loose on that day. Somebody, please enlighten me.
  10. Green Path huh? How are they going to deal with the inside lane/outside lane dilimma? Are they going to stagger the start? Are they going to give the guy starting on the outside one and a half cars? I'm sceptical, but I'd like to see it happen.
  11. Hell no. The last time a battle raged at Pil it was all baseball bats and Japanese Katana swords. Ask Stone Cold Crash.n.Burn. He is a major gangbanger and he knows all about that shit. In fact, everybody gathering on the 22nd needs to be wary of Crash's movements. He moves like a hawk, silent and deadly and he can be up in your grill in nanoseconds if you're not careful.
  12. Whats happening on the 22nd? Everybody keeps talking about the 22nd. Is there some major happening drag going down or something? Are you going to bring your 9 mm and a baseball bat? Where can I get tickets for this showdown?
  13. That yellow Supra has the most riced-out engine bay I have ever seen in my life.
  14. Don't mess with the Gizmo gangsters. Those motherf**kers are deadly!

    Mahagasthota

Mahagastotte was good, but Radella was more exciting. Don Z, the Chairman and CEO of Tuned i-Chips International (NYSE:TIC) won his first race in his new car and Nigel placed an outstanding second in Group A upto 1600, finishing just 0.01 seconds behind Harsha De Silva. With that, Harsha is now only 4 points behind Nigel in the SLARDAR championship at 22 to Nige's 26. Nishan Weerasooriya was absolutely phenomenal. Despite setting a record-breaking time on his first run, well beyond the reach of any of the regular runners, he went up for a second run and broke his record again. That man is surely the king of hill-climbs.
  16. God Damn! You go out of CMB for a couple and days and you miss so much. I guess my initial prognosis was right - Old Man Fernandopulle is indeed Da Hulk and decided to reveal himself on Saturday night. Its all good, buddy, you can start posting again. And I'll give you more money from now on. Props to the CGT and Quicksilver for running as promised. Its only a drag, guys, so lets chill out. We're all friends after all. It has come to my attention that some people think that I am Dominator. I categorically deny that. Also, Gihan, whatsup and Quicksilver are definitely two different people.
  17. Yup, thats the exact page we used for our research. Sadly, nothing worked.

    Post-Whoring

I'm sad to say this, but I too passed the 100 mark recently.
  19. You're right. You DO smell a rat. Overdrive, do I know you? I'm starting to think that I do, somehow. Sid will be in the same predicament, but he isn't taking part in April anyway.

    Honda Accord

A buddy of mine that works for Comptech Motorsports in Nor Cal, the Honda/Acura guys, sent me these pics. The first is of the Honda R&D Acura TL that ran in the 25 Hours of Thunderhill and the other is, I'm assuming, one of some of the cars they keep for research purposes, or customer cars. That older-model black NSX looks hot.
  21. Happy Birthday, man.

    Building A Drag-able Car

Hot GTis? I don't know dude. The only hot one I know of is Sa's. It's actually a JWRC car, and no its not here. It would be a crime to use that car for drag racing. Nope.
  23. The issue at hand is that club officials are now deciding to rate PS as beind dead equal to BHP after many years of accepting a conversion factor. Take for example the average Civic VTi (EG8) that runs in that class. Honda quotes 1060 kg and 130 PS. Now, if you do a little bit of research on the internet you'll find that PS is equal to hp(DIN) and is also called metric horsepower. You'll also find that PS is now an obsolete standard and to get to BHP you have multiply the PS value by a factor of 0.9863 which gives you 128.22 bhp. By the way, for some reason, the clubs don't accept the weight of the car as being 1060 kg and insist on 1040 kg. Under those circumstances, 1040kg divided by 128.22 hp equals 8.11 kg/hp which is pefectly within the legal limits of the class. However, now, after many years of accepting the above adjustment, these officials are claiming that PS is equal to HP and that 1040/130 is 8 kg/hp. However, since the rule actually calls for cars that are 8.05 kg/hp and above, the EG8 is no longer eligible. This is a stupid rule that is just going to cost 8 to 10 kg/hp entries and generally discourage entries. There is a flimsy argument for PS but it doesn't accept that PS is now an obsolete standard. How can we expect the spirit of motor racing to be fostered if these kind of draconian laws are implemented? The sad news is that, for April, the battle was lost yesterday. Dilan will now have to run in modified, Group A upto 1600 cc, with a minimum of modifications because of the late notice. But, the battle will resume post-April.
  24. Make: Datsun Model: 240Z Year: 1971 Price: $3500 I still get close to tears remembering it. RWD, a 150 bhp i-6, low kerb weight and hard tires meant that rainy days were hairy/fun. It was truly a great car and the sheer history of it was just a bonus. I did the head gasket in and then sold it off for peanuts to a Z fan who knew the car's true value. The '71 MY was the original Z car and only the second year in the series.
  25. Not long after the current Z returned, Nissan released pictures of a car they had built to ACO/FIA GT specs, to run against the Porsche 911 RSRs and Ferrari 360 GTs in FIA GT/ALMS/Le Mans. Many teams in the ALMS got very excited about them but unfortunately Nissan pulled the plug on the program (I think). This class is now called GT2 and I still hope Nismo develops the car for it. Sad, it would've been nice to have seen a Three Fitty trading paint with a 911 through the Dunlop Curves.
