  1. Absolutely. Last night was a case in point.
  2. http://eleanor.portal5ive.com/page/7/ Check this out. This guy is turning his old Toyota Corolla into a 1967 Shelby GT500E. Big up to him.

Without doubt, the F50. I saw one several years ago, and pissed my pants on the spot.

It was, dude. The 997 was released in late '04 or maybe even very early '05. I saw this car, twice at least, in April 2005. Yes, the 944 is an excellent car. I knew a couple of dudes that had them and they were fun cars. Alright, being front-engined they weren't pure Porsches but definitely value for money.
  5. Yup, it was. It was, in fact, an old rally school car.

You go to UCSC? Haha dude, if you do, you go to the most stoned campus in all of America. More stoned than ever Humboldt State, which is saying something. PCH is a nice drive, but I'm not sure I'd want to be doing 110 in a Civic through that.
  7. Thats's KLM to you, buddy! Upper Case it. JK dude. Ya I'll text you if it happens.
  8. Zanardi is still competitive in the World Touring Car Championship, with BMW. I've been a big fan of his for a few years, and if you ever see a clip of his last-lap pass of Bryan Herta at Laguna Seca through the corkscrew (1997 or 1996), you'll be a fan forever as well. At Laguna, they still idolize "The Pass".
  9. I have a confession to make. I tried listening to 'Galang' yesterday, and I found myself tapping my toes in tune to the beat. Its actually not bad.
  10. You're mistaken. Ravi ran Glenn once, and even that was an incomplete run. The mighty SOHCs of Pila are still indeed, mighty.

I think this is a silly argument that has digressed way too far. In my opinion, on an automotive-related site such as this, people should be able to freely discuss the modifications they have done to their cars. In fora such as this, sharing your tuning experiences can be educational, especially to those looking to perform similar changes to their cars. In fact, in proper automotive sites, people look to the forums for advice on performance/maintenance upgrades. So if you've had success making a performance improvement, why not share it with your buddies online? Gihan, machan, despite you saying that we shouldn't boast about what work has gone into our cars, you clearly say that Again, dude, with that line-up you should be beating VTEC Hondas.
  12. Hmm. Ask Pilawoos. He knows the Bullion Exchange guys well.

He is talking about Gihan, because Gihan says that we shouldn't discuss our cars or the performance mods done to them on this site.

You had me excited there for a second. I saw the red 944S on Saturday, in fact. About a year ago I saw a silverish 997. No joke, and this was right after they had been launched internationally. Its license plates read XX-0911.
  15. That really sucks. Do these new-generation cars front-impact issues? Didn't Renna also die in one of the newer cars? The old ones were death-traps anyways. It sucks for Buddy Rice though, he would've been up there with the leading drafting pack at the end. Anyways, I hope that when they eventually merge with ChampCar (hopefully for next year), they agree on a much safer chassis. The ChampCar Reynards and Lolas are also susceptible to major side-impact hits. Remember Tagliani spearing Zanardi at the Lausitzring?

Are you seriously telling me that there was a Porsche 959 in Sri Lanka?????

There seems to be a bit of a dichotomy here. And with those mods, you should be scaring the SOHCers shitless.
  18. WCC, Bullion Exchange sponsoring Rohith is an excellent idea. Must tell them to. miniace, which of those two cars picured is the 1600?
  19. This is terrible. As much as I love the IRL, I hate the fact that it is so dangerous. Sam Schmidt crippled, Tony Renna killed, Kenny Brack almost killed, Paul Dana, the list goes on. I wonder if they had the SAFER barrier installed? Poor bastard. Running with Rahal Letterman meant that he'd have been competitive as well.
  20. Wow, that is some serious rice, apart from the Subaru and the Dodge Viper, which look like legitimate race cars. Also, if its a sport compact show, why does it have a C5 'Vette on the front of the poster? Kardinal Offishall makes me laugh. Apart from the rice and curry though, some of those Oriental babes look hot.
  21. These here stories remind me of the time I got busted at Indy. It cost me a thousand bucks but the buggers didn't take it until they were safely out of sight of anybody, practically IN the monument dedicated to a free Sri Lanka. The irony of that was just shocking at the time.

Bugger must have forgotten me. I've been to Pila only once since saturday.

Totally. The weekday drags are much more happening and there is usually a good match race or two. You have to give credit to the i-Chippers for always being ready to run their Pieces of SOHC.

Crash.n.burn, the other day at Pila didn't Nigel say "Bring me your fast, and furious, your Nissans and your Fords, and I shall runneth them"?

Nice spot, bra. I was kidding. Karl Marx once said that Religion was the opiate of the masses so I was just paraphrasing and attributed it to Richard Marx because I figured that these here kids would know that name better than Karl Marx. Its a slow work day for me. Can you tell?
