Yes...our permit system actually was good way back in the 80s...but then our wise benevolent rulers changed policies so that anyone can get a permit for any reason and exchange permits around like exchanging paper napkins.

That's right, it's a Zeonic Toyota x Char (from Gundam) Auris! (And the complete edition at it). I didn't know about the existence of the tamer looking version, which actually looks cleaner. Saw this complete edition up for sale on a website and it piqued my interest. Apparently only 300 were made. I'd been wondering why there are rarely any up for sale, even the standard Auris, but looks like we've gotten a very comprehensive explanation too. So ig it's @iRage's turn next? Over to you

You're right about the model, it is an Auris indeed! As for the stickers however, they are all from factory if I'm not mistaken. This is a special edition collab between Toyota and another Japanese company (akin to the Redbull x Mini collab). That's what I was referring to here as the edition (Clue - it's related to something very popular in Japanese pop culture)

Replacing pole 'stars' with 'stones', 01 of them to be exact, may give the answer hopefully? Truth to be told I wasn't even aware of the existence of this company until a few minutes ago, but I think it's pretty cool that the vehicle was apparently designed by Pininfarina, or at least their branch in Shanghai, if I'm not mistaken.

On an added note, do the new certificates only include the immediate past owner? The old one had the names of all 3 previous owners, but the new one I received just mentions the last owner.
