Hi MG roughly how much money have you invested to reach this milestone? (If you dont mind me asking - cost of car and upgrades) also what mpg city/hwy do you get? Also, how well does your vehicle handle in snow? how heavy is it?... Pardon the odd questions, I've always wanted a camaro and wanted some thoughts from an owner.. also, what are your thoughts on turbocharged jap vehicles (evo/imprezza).. how do they compare to NA American v6's/v8's? in terms of performance and fuel economy? if they are so good as people say they are how come Americans keep buying NA vehicles? I've always wanted to ask these questions from someone who actually knows what they are talking about, but mention v8 here in SL and people give funny looks... also, do you still have the toyota truck? any observations on it (performance, mpg, etc)

imo the krrr. sound you describe is most likely pinging or preignition. possible causes include poor fuel, overadvanced timing, over-lean mixture or a combination of all. (however these may not all apply to your car as it is electronic fuel injection/engine management...) perhaps its just the fuel? where do you fill up usually? Question to autolanka - who gives the best fuel? I ask because i notice a huge difference between fuel from different vendors/stations... any thoughts? Also, who has the best 95 octane? I notice pinging is a common problem on local cars - is it due to fuel?..

What I don't get is - the seatbelt in the photo is in the door OPEN position - how did that happen? I'd say that's the biggest evidence suggesting that it could be fake..

OK here's what I don't get - car has auto seatbelts, and yet the seatbelt is retracted, thought the door is still stuck... maybe the auto system broke down and they never fixed, but it looks suspicious and nobody would drive like that anyway (cops would pull em over) any idea of the origin of this photo?...

hey there From what you say you cant boot up hey = see if you can boot into safe mode? if thats possible you might be able to use a network PCMCIA card to get the data off. Thats definitely preferrable to opening up laptop (try not to!) If you can get to safe mode, you can plug in a network card, and copy your files, then format. GOSH! just had an idea if you have a Windows XP CD you might be able to reinstall windows XP and keep your existing files if that fails, try the unity plaza external laptop hdd case idea.. thats gotta do it keep me updated, tell me if it doesnt work out I'll try to find some time.. Hi man, Hannibal here Tell me: 1. is your primary partition is FAT32 or NTFS 2. Do you have more than one partition (e.g. do you have a D drive aside from the cd/dvd) 3. Do you save your data files on C drive or another drive? Where are you located? pls don't give it to someone who is clueless as they may mess it up and loose the data. U can't connect a laptop HDD direct to a PC but you can connect it via a small adapter I'll help you if I can, will not charge anything.. I don't officially do hardware as a job (more a hobby) but I always help anyone I know If you can answer question 1 and 2 above then I should definitely be able to do something cheers Hannibal
