  1. The E39 G series used to go around 5mil or less didn't they?
  2. Since we're in this topic, I calculated my fuel economy today. City driving - 10mpg which converts to about 3.5kmpl. Damn! Only way I see this improving is park the car and walk...
  3. If you can afford to pay for it and the service bills, the euro cars will pay you back in satisfaction. But be aware, once you go the Euro route, you get so spoiled you can never get back on anything else...

    Triptonic Gear

It's an automatic transmission with some level of user input that allows the driver to control the shifts to a certain degree. Read the following article. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manumatic
  5. Yep it is fixedfree of charge. But if the owner is very persistent on getting his money back I'm sure they would do that too. Companies here in the US are very concerned about customer service. Also certain states have a law called 'Lemon buy back law' that requires the manufacturer to buy the car back from the customer if he doesn't like it. Those cars are then given a 'Lemon title' and resold but they always fetch a lower price due to the title.. Recalls are very common in the US. All BMW E46 models including the M3 has an open recall for rear sub frame damage. All Audis including the model I have has an open recall for the engine coil packs. Since there are so many Toyotas out there this is getting blown out of proportion heavily.
  6. I was talking more about the Pulsar VzRs
  7. I think you've seen something else then, probably Pulsar SR-v. Both the VzR hatches and almost all the sedans I know of are very well taken care of... Unless you're referring to Peri here as an "exec who can't climb the corporate ladder" ROFTL
  8. You running? All the best then!
  9. Happy B'day DD!
  10. It's perception and low fuels economy. Considering its a Nissan I don't see anything else. So you've outgrown the 'Rebel'ious boy-racer inside you? Welcome back....
  11. Not you! I meant him
  12. Is this an old thread? And is this who I think it is?
  13. Happy B'day!
  14. Happy B'day!
  15. CR- Certifacte Of Registration (also called the book) VIC - Vehicle Identity Card (applicable only to English numbers)
  16. Thanks for sharing. Does that mean you're buying a Ferrari?
  17. You're right. But in the case of 'open papers', the person selling it is not the registered owner, so there's always a risk that the information on the open MTA6 will not match with what is with RMV. Best is to have it checked at RMV, but you will need some inside help for that. I've bought many vehicles on 'open papers' and never had a problem. But I know people who've had trouble with open papers. There's always a risk.
  18. This was a quick shoot. You think it's easy to manipulate a camera in 15 below, especially without gloves? I will have to keep this till I get out of college.
  19. It was -15 Celsius this morning. Tried washing it this morning, sprayed it and it all froze. So had to go to the automatic wash which is heated, and those icicles are dripping water when I drive out of there....

Nice! Congrats on a job well done
  24. ROTFL......
  25. Yes the AWD and 4drs both in one package was a decisive factor. Even on 18"s and Tien springs the ride was pretty confortably. Wife was still for a bimmer even during the the trip to check it out. But as soon as she saw it, she was all for it. Even the backseats are Recaros, funny...LOL
