i just converted my US driving license to SL driving license using the one day service. All i needed was 1/ My US license which had to be current ( cannot be expired) 2/my passport with the valid US visa 3/original birth certicifate 4/SL ID card 5/medical certificate: there are 2 versions for this. i used the old one and had no problem. the new one looks more professional and you need a photograph too. my advise is take copies of each when you go. Get in line by 5:30 in the morning. they only give out 200 numbers for day service. it costs Rs.2500.(they say 2200 but inside they charge for international conversion fee of 300). you can get the card by 2pm the same day. outside is a little messy but inside everything is pretty straight forward. standing in line is not fun. they take 50 people at once. good luck!!

ya machan..ppl alwys say that the dealers cost more but i think wen a problem like this comes its better to go to them....planning on going this weekend..

update on my check engine light.... since i didnt have time to check the problem my self i took it to monro..the place i always take my car if it has a serious problem...therethey told me 2 things.... 1) they can only check whats wrong wit my car ONLY when the check engine light comes on...(eventhough my speedometer doesnt work either) apparently in all the hondas after 95 the so called "chip" stores the info on the chip were as in the 95 and earlier models thats not the case 2)They couldnt find the freakin port to plug the computer thing...those guys looked all over and couldnt find it

im using a blackberry 7105t....not the greatest phone with fun features...big mistake....dont buy a blackberry unless u have a pretty busy schedule or need to check ur mail often..

Hey guys....yesterday my speedometer stopped working and my check engine light came on....and now my speedometer works sumtimes and the check engine light keeps coming on and off...does anyone know y this happens....its a 95 honda DX coupe
