Hello guys. I have a 1993 Nissan Patrol Y60-B and I’m looking for an engine swap. The car has the TB42 petrol engine (manual gear box) and I want to change it to a diesel engine (preferably turbocharged). My options for the turbo diesel engine are: Probably the TD42TI (Turbocharged) Nissan 300ZX (V6) Cummins 6BT (The last option) So please help me guys with an advice and guidance on this issue. Which of these engines would be the best for the swap or what type of engine would you recommend me? Considering that the fuel economy is going to change on Ecuador (where I live) (petrol fuel is going to be expensive and diesel fuel is going to keep it cheap) I would like a turbocharged diesel engine with good torque and horsepower I want to keep the car all original I would prefer a Nissan engine but if it is a better option to put an external brand engine I don’t have any problem. I will be happy for your advice 😁
