I am currently using an alto 800 cc car and i feel that the comfort is not up to what i am expecting and therefore recently i have decided to buy a Peugeot 406. Main concerns in my case are; 1. low price (1.4M) 2. high Comfort 3. high Prestige 4. high driving pleasure 5. moderate maintenance cost.. People are afraid to buy this type of a car (European). Reasons behind this may be; 1. scarcity of spares 2. Low fuel consumption 3. high maintenance cost. What are your ideas and suggestions on buying a Peugeot 406???Do you feel that is it a wise choice..pls advice on availability of spares,maintenance cost, fuel consumption. Since automatic gear box fails periodically i am hoping to buy a manual one. Please share your experience to have a clear picture of this model..... ( I hope this vehicle do 9-10 km/l around Colombo city limits and 12-13 outer. I also imagine Peugeot is a high comfortable vehicle.) If you have further suggestions and vehicles suite for my budget and needs pls share....

@ Supra_Natural Thanks.... As you mention the rough cost for this project is around 1 Million, i am just asking to know whether is it worthy (Out come) ? (worthy in the sense comfort and performance) By the way i am having a mini cooper, 4 Sri xxxx one. I have swapped the engine 1000 cc metro. So all the breaks upgraded. (Front Disk). Newly painted So i was just planning to sell that vehicle and go for the new project. Is that good??? Do you think that if i will do all these stuff modifications and the upgradings to mini is worthy than going for the ke20 project???? BUT the Problem is it is very small (Mini)... I am little BIG What you suggest??? Any others....?? { Selling mini and go for the new project .... or .... Do modifications to this mini }

@ Hoonigan here i need not only the outer look or the appearance of the car... I like it's classic look.. but at the same time i need a speedy car. "with bodykits. spoilers and a sound system?" Yes I need these ..... Apart from these i need some other modifications to engine.... Final outcome what i am hoping is a pretty decent well looking car, with comfort and good performance......

@ Komisiripala i am still thinking ..... As i am new i dont have exact idea regarding these modifications.... But i love this car and i have seen lot of lovely modified cars in internet. I want to have a such one... So if you can pls roughly draft what are the areas that i must consider ... and rough cost........

Hi Guys, I am planning to buy a KE 20 car and modify it with a engine swapping. (Hope to fix a turbo unit also). So i need some expertise ideas regarding this upgration. Actually i like the shape of the car and its pretty cool look. It also a budget project. So pls advise me with x. A suitable powerful engine x. A place where i can do the engine swap and other refurbishings. x. Is it a good idea to proceed. Thank You.
