yes. you can first send a comment from http://www.amwltd.com/pitstop/html/comments.htm and explain how you got the check engine problem just after the service. You will get a call from management within a day. I think you should also demand a FOC fix, if you believe that the service caused the issue. (I did same)

Yesterday I took it back to A*W workshop and after being checked by so called their best guys , the final diagnosis was that, the throttle body was dirty. It's again pit***p fault because they did the trottle body cleaning together with ATF flush, engine flush etc. They did the yesterdays diagnosis and fixes FOC. The problem is now fixed. 1. ATF used was "Autran DX 111" (http://www.amwltd.com/Bp/html/product_details/details_transmission_dx3.htm) and as per both pit***p guys and workshop guys it is compatible with suzuki ATF 3317 . They call it as DEXRON III 2. workshop say there is nothing wrong with Tranny. This was a good lesson learned. I should not have let them do the engine flush, etc , because what i needed to do was just to replace ATF, because it was brown color.

the dip stick says suzuki ATF 3317 A*W used DEXRON III The A*W people say its compatible, but I have not verified this. I do not have the owner manual. I don't think the manufacturer recommend engine flush. The A*W people have remarked in the service booklet that next flush to be done after 30,000 km.

(with AC off) idle rpm is about 800. if I put gear in "D" and foot on the brake the rpm will go down to about 650. Does that indicate any problem ? that may be the case. If so it is not related to a engine flush or ATF change, isnt that so ? I have complained this to A*W (where i did the ATF change and engine flush , etc), and I will be taking the car back to them next Monday.

no. the break pedal do not vibrate. what i mean is that there is lot of vibration in the car after ATF change. when i drive slowly i feel lot of vibration. when i start the engine, press the break completely, and put the gear to D position, there is lot of vibration when i put the dear to N or P, there is no vibration at all. my question is that , can there be a connection between AFT change and this kind of vibration.

Dear Experts, I want your advice regarding ATF I had my ATF changed at p**stop about month ago on my ht51s (Suzuki swift). They insisted that i do engine flush, throttle body clean etc.. and I allowed all that to be done. After that I feel that there is much vibration in the car, especially when its in D and break is fully depressed. I also checked ATF level and noticed that they have overfilled it. The level of ATF was about 1 cm above the max level when engine was cool and not running. Can the vibration in D caused by overfilled ATF ? I'm going to take it back to p**stop tomorrow. Is their any other place for Auto transmission diagnosis ? regards

All, I went to A*W last week and get them to scan it. They told it's the O2 sensor. (Actually it's not the sensor itself, but the heater thats inside the sensor). After they showed me that the heater is open circuited, I got it replaced. Now the MIL is off when I drive. I also noticed a little bit of performance increase while accelerating. It seems to do bit better on fuel too.

sorry for not updating the thread. the MIL is still up. car is still doing just fine. also do about 13km/leter with AC in city drives. btw i did one test [i know what i'm doing, so no need to worry about this ] by shorting out pin2+pin4 of the 6 pin Diagnostic connector. This gave diagnostic code 14. (one long flash, four short flashes). This generic code is for "Coolant Sensor Circuit (Signal Voltage Low)" I suspect a faulty (shorted) coolant sensor. will go to the agent soon do a proper testing.

hi, did you try the amws suzuki center at "kithulwatta road" , borealla? were their obd2 scanners working ? I also want to do a scan on my swift (2003,japanese,HT51s), but when I called tham in mid february, i was told that the tools are out or order and will not be availablr for about a month. http://forum.autolanka.com/index.php?s...amp;#entry62364 hope the scanners are available now.

I met zakie , tried to scan, but the scan tool he had did not work for the car. Will try my luck at A*W. only think is when i called them they said "ummm.... all our computerized tools (at kitulwatte where they have suzuki workshop)are damaged.....wont be avilable for a month". I didn't ask "ALL YOUR COMP TOOLS !! HOW THAT POSSIBLE" , even though I wanted to Is there anyone else with obd Scan tools ? Any comments about m*gc**y.

hi, I have a suzuki swift 2003 car and the MIL (malfunction indicator lamp) of it just went off. I want to do a odb scan and find whats wrong with it. Apperently the car is not showing any difference in performance or behavior. What are the places in Sri lanka that do this scan ? Thanks -Thiwanka

Thanks for the advice. At first I will only be in the "read only" mode. I won't be doing any modifications unless I'm 100% percent certain of what I'm doing. What I'm at this stage it looking for information, but that too is not readily available. I will check at A*W as suggested by " The Grand Poobah"

I recently bought a 2003 Suzuki Swift (japanese) [ LA-HT51s]. I am interested in connecting it to my laptop via the odb2 port. I'm looking for information like , the protocol used in this car (eg iso9141) and the the hardware/software that can be used for this purpose. Do you know any place that sells ready made obd2 scan tools in sri lanka ? Also do you know of any service centers that do OBD diagnostics ?
