As for ya question buddy.. once the cops right up front on a corner uses the speed gun on another vehicle.. the waves bounce all over the place and at most circumstances would be detected by ya radar detector.. thus warning ya.. certain brands though do not catch the waves so be wary at times.. the gun does not necessarily have to be pointed at.. but merely used for the waves to propogate and hit the detector.. oh and just in case the cops are using laser speed guns rather than the conventional speed guns.. then ya chances of escaping is reduced dramatically.. unlike waves, laser focuses on a single point and does not bounce.. most detectors would warn ya though once the laser is pointed onto the car but considering the speed at which our fellow motorists take corners (and the cops too stay a bit away from da corner yeah?) it would be VERY difficult to slow down sufficiently to jump a fine.. does anybody got any idea bout what type of speed guns our local "kossas" use? lol.. yeah.. got saved like bout 4 odd times cuz of those dudes who flash the light.. Zz

just bring it dude.. me cars even in a worse state n badly in need of a paint job lol.. @ isuru - ma prediction came true dude!!! lmao.. Zz

There are variety of brands dude.. the Viper series, Belltronics etc. and most of em got varying quality of detection... Belltronics which lalithster s using a more reputed brand.. i doubt whether ya could buy the stuf here.. the only option would be to get it down from abroad and have it installed here via an electronics guy.. Always check the reviews of the radar detector ya are purchasing.. there are varying ranges and bands in which it detects.. Had an interest of installing one myself.. but then the cost factor obstructed it.. best ya feed yaself loads o vitamins and improve ya eyesight.. so that spotting cops would be a breeze easier.. n cheaper.. ya could purchase some good quality detectors via ebay dude.. Hey duncan, i ve heard of people who ve pumped diesel into a petrol tank including me dad despite all ma pleadings that it WAS diesel.. how would it be the most easiest way to clean out the entire tank? Is there a release opening at the bottom of the tank? and also the issue of dirt at the bottom of the engine.. how could it be cleaned? Zz

Long lasting, better air flow, probably bout 2-5 bhp increase, improves fuel efficiency, adds a cool smooth beat... though the positives would be better noticed only when the filter installation is done as par recommended instructions.. if in case the air filter is more prone to hot air in comparison to the stock filter, there COULD be some drawbacks too.. proper installation always have positive benefits though.. Zz

Diesel vehicles does not have fuel pumps? car ve bumped by me dad.. gotta a slightly dented bonnet and fender.. so no bumping around.. Zz

lets gather n go ppl.. it would kinda make t a flashy car parade all the day to seeduwa n gets some heads turning n some cops jumpy.. cool scene.. wut say bout everybody gettin 2gether at independence square eh? Zz

thanks for the heads up duncan.. but most of the trucks which are in construction etc. run near empty level due to petrol being siphoned.. as most of these models got the tank out in the open.. btw does this apply to the newer cars or the 90-2000 generation vehicles too? @ terabite - the argument of the car running more on full tank etc. is mostly hearsay man.. from what i heard from me dad it is not always best to run on low fuel for the simple reason petrol over here is quite dirty and most of the dirt gets stuck at the bottom.. n as dat site says yes the fuel injectors could get clogged.. n also the fuel indicator is no precision instrument.. i ve noticed this as when ma car has half tank full and i do a little bumping around the cars the indicator shows different levels at different times despite their been a certain amount of gas.. not sure where or how this fuel sensor works though... in the end everything depends on how hard ya smash that throttle Zz

Well my first vote would go for the Toyota Corollas man.. for the simple reason that I ve heard all good about it.. and it is quite sought after in a way.. Not sure bout whether this is true but heard that the VVt-i engines of the newer corollas drink a tad bit more of fuel but i do doubt it.. but nevertheless Corollas have decent performance, ample space, economicality and everything you would look for.. the only factor which would change a decision would be personal preferences.. so i ve got no say.. some might like the designs of the Corollas n not.. personally i do not like it either cuz the car looks quite bulky.. Any opinions of whether Toyotas could be beaten in terms of reliability/costs of maintaining etc? Zz

Would drift via FF vehicles be possible? or would it be a powerslide eh? The Type R is an impressive piece o honda, me cuz bro had one earlier and just took it for a ride n it handles like rails.. not sure bout da cornering though.. from wut i knw cornering has more to do with driving skill than mechanical ingenuity.. have a pal whos a bit of a psycho.. took a bloody turn at over 120 kmph.. i tried but found that me car was understeering :-( ... his was a mere FB14.. Bout lancers.. i thought lancers are deemed quite reliable no? oh wel.. atleast thats wut ma thoughts are about mistus.. Zz
