HI GUYS!!!! First of all thank you Mini Ace for putting the facts straight to these guys about the MMC Concour's 'd' Elegance. A few points which i should enlighten you guys on:- Namaz does not have a mini moke!!!!!! it belongs to Richard De Soysa who could not attend the meeting and therefore Namaz brought it. Sarath's pick-up is one of 3 originals in the country. One belonged to Walkers the other to British Car Co and this one to the British High Commission and was subsequently handed over to the Dehiwala Mt Lavinia Muncipal council by Government stores. Malinda's moke 5 sri 201 was not at the show. He was lucky to be placed with his clubby wagon inspite of the Nissan suspension fitted to it. Mini production ceased in October 2000. The Monte was built in 1994. I hope this is not another example of badge engineering which is very common in Sri Lanka. As for the judges at the event, they were all an indipendent panel and i for one witnessed them doing their job. Guys lets not critisize anyone without getting are facts straight first!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hey dude, that a cool machine! Came in 1600GSR also. I believe there are 2 GSR's like this in sri lanka, All in all those machines are fabulous!!! Will give 2 thumps up on the car dude!!! Oh and just for your info the lancer GSR is a drift machine which is very tail happy. "Why go straight when you can go sideways instead!!!!!" TC dude.

Thanks Dude, which model of lancer? Is it a rear wheel drive? Cause i'm seriously into rear wheel drive drift machines!

Hey Gentlemen, Did any of u dudes go for the Katukurunda Race Meet on Sunday? It was really cool, especially the Mini’s!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The standard 1000 mini event was hot, Ajith Hemachandra started off in the lead but died half way through, then Dilshan Bandaranayake & Parameshwaran kept switching places on almost every lap & finally dilshan out drove parameshwaran to victory. The best part of the whole race was, they ran the Mini’s with the Nissan March’s and the MINI’s KICKED THEIR BUTTS!!!!! Then came the BOMB a twin cam yellow mini driven by y@ga p#re#a which just flew round the race track, no one could dream of catching him, he finished with a quarter lap lead over the second place guy in a Datsun B310, (Nice Drift Machine). All in all it was a cool day!!!! Still can’t get my mind off the twin cam mini though! Cheers Guys!!

Miniace, Sorry to barge in half way, its my first time out with a mini, a dude asked me to take it to a guy who is near the gold club, people say he is good. Is it true? But lots of dudes talk highly of Saman as well, actually wat is the level of there work?
