A young girl was raped by a man posing as a plain clothes officer; he asked her to come to the police station when she and her male friend didn't have a driver`s license to show. He sent the boy off to get his license and asked the girl to accompany him to the police station. Took her instead to an isolated area where the horrendous crime was committed. Infact, the law clearly states that between 6 pm and 6am, a woman has the right to REFUSE to go to the Police Station, even if an arrest warrant has been issued against her. It is a procedural issue that a woman can be arrested between 6pm and 6 am, ONLY if she is arrested by a woman officer and taken to an ALL WOMEN police station. And if she is arrested by a male officer, it has to be proven that a woman officer was on duty at the time of arrest. It is good for us to know our rights. To what extent it comes of use remains to be seen in any situation. But as they say, knowledge is power.

Really.... it's very irritating to read this kind of posts. You might say "if it's irritating, don't read". Most of the time, I don't read. As Mean green said, it takes 3.5 times more than to read this type of a post. Also when finished reading with difficulty, you don't know what's the content, since your attention is on reading it, not understanding it. Some may be doing it because they're so used to it or simply to cover up the grammar or spelling mistakes (or may be to show off). Choice is yours.

I pumped a full tank juice y'day evening form Thimbirigasyaya Cey****. Only 10 cars. But they were nearing end. According to them they have pumped more than 20,000l starting from 10am. In the morning also they were pumping petrol. Not a long queue. Think every thing is back to normal. But my 95' tank is at home without food.

nice ........................... My 1 is also nearing empty. May be tomorrow and Sat. I'm going on leave till they get the pumps back in full action.

Checked the coolant (BP) I have. It's pre-diluted (30%) and instructed not to dilute further. It differs from Manufacturer to manufacturer. So better read the instructions. If you use water to dilute, use de-ionized water. U can go by the coolant colour or better check the manufactures instructions. Some long life coolants will last 5 years or 150,000 miles. Interesting thread....

The C**tex coolant advertisement on the radio says, use it 50/50 with water. I’m using BP coolant for my cars from the beginning and fill the radiator. At Pitstop they suck all the water remaining in the radiator and tubes totally and do the filling. You don’t have to fill it regularly. Once filled it stays a long long time. May be a bottle after 6 months. There's no point if your radiator is already rusted. If you swap a new radiator or if the car is new.... surely it’s a worth investment.

Aren’t most of the 3-wheelers on our roads are 2 stroke. What the govt is going to do with those, take those 2-strokes and give them 4-strokes??? This is how 2-Stroke works & this is how 4-Stroke works.

I drove back home my Lucino without petrol last night (only on the petrol smell I guess) Now the other one is also near empty. Any place in Colombo to pump 90 or 95???
