Not so correct. I do upto 50-60 mile per hour ( 80-100 kmph) in my non turbo 4dr5 regularly. Get the injectors cleaned and engine overhauled if needed. I get stopped cos its black but of course I flash my ID and get away.

That means my YOM 1972 jeep does not need a test!! In vain i paid 700 for the test! But it has a new engine transplanted in 2006 What about it (It is 325-xxxx now)

Let me add the bit I know. One that counts is the K factor. That is the opacity of the smoke on sudden accleleration. I on my 4dr5 jeep failed the test onece cos K factor was 4. something. Pressuring and cleaning the injectors solved the problem. Mine reads close to you.

Yeah as a jeep owner I agree. Even after 37 years my jeep + many others run great. Can go to Matara and back with 2000 diesel. can go at great speeds. Amazing reliability [ not found in Land rovers + defenders]. Any mechanic can repair it and infact many repairs can be done by onself. Many engine and brake/clutch parts are the same that are for pajero. so easy to find. Amazing vehicle and can buy cheap too.

You get a few 325- ones for recently converted ones. (after english plates came to rule)

people used to do it about 1-2 year ago. They open the battry up. replace the deformed lead plates. replaces the damaged insulators with ?cardboard. I got the jeep with 2 such batteries. They tend to stop funcionaing all of a sudden because of shorting due to poor insulation. Battery shops told me they are not practicing it anymore.

Why is a 325- Number bad. Don't they give english numbers when you convert. Or do they give 325- Numbers Are all 325- jeeps converted

The thing I did is to buy a pair of cupboard locks and fix them in. They fit neatly to the internal mechanics and looks original
