Bad smell started to come when I turn on A/C few days back. After checking at garage the mecahnic found a rat inside the blower and it had already damaged the A/C filter. Anyone else had this kind of issue? How do you keep rats away from the car (i drive the car everyday so looks like rats get in at night when engine is cooled down).

I borrowed a friend's swift (2007 auto) for few days and I noticed that it is making a loud noise when releasing break pedals from a complete stop. During the normal ride / when releasing breaks after just slowing down there is no such noise. Is this normal or should I concern?

Toyota Belta unregistered Year: 2007 Price: 2.2 M is this for 1000cc model / 1300cc model? from what i heard 1000cc is going for this price and 1300cc is around 2.7. additionally they say 1000cc is not good at fuel.

@3000cc - Hi, the vehicle is Toyota Vitz (2007). so i think there is no need to get a converter. do you know a place that sell those items?

There is a rumor going on which says due to the sudden increase in demand for Japanese vehicles the auction prices are gone up in Japan. Anyone else heard that / can verify that?

Looks like someone is really unhappy about the price drop (may be bought a car just before the price reduction). Only two posts and both shows same frustration

As I can remember it is not possible to order cars that are older than 3 years or so. In that case do you guys think second hand car market prices will drop significantly?

Still not sure how the prices will change but as a long waiting buyer I am happy if unreg Swift comes down to 20 - 2.1 mil :-)

These days at least the loan rates are bit low. if they also go up during the coming months then buying a car is going to be mission impossible......

In the same boat of Killer-B, waiting for car prices to comedown. However I think "isurujosh" is right and don't see car prices (or taxes) coming down anytime soon. Other thing is in SL any price that goes up (with or without a reason) is not coming down
