  1. Yes of course... that's not a worry But then again you can say that about nearly every forum...Thanks
  2. Thanks for sharing the directory... the one I'm using is very similar to what you posted. But in order for me to retrieve vehicle specifications I need the model no. suffix Thanks again Suba Dhavasak
  3. You're spot on... that's basically what I'm going to do with the model number Appreciate your understanding Suba Dhavasak
  4. I thought I mentioned it earlier? I'm running it (the model no.) through a registry similar to what Magnum357 has kindly shared.Suba Dhavasak KiT
  5. With responses like this I'm not going to ask for anything more. The model numbers are not unique I can take a photo of a Pajero engine plate and prove it if you wish. The chassis number is what varies from one to another and what makes them unique. Thanks for your response Suba Dhavasak
  6. Oh no, nothing body-related... It was the model no. that I'm after which should be identical across most of them... had I asked for chassis no. then that would interfere with a person's vehicle privacy/authenticityJust running a specification check through a registry with all the other V46 chassis Pajeros manufactured around the world... I need that particular model no. from our jeeps in Sri Lanka Suba Dhavasak Randheera
  7. Dear Friends, I don't visit the AutoLanka Forum very often so I'd like to say hello after a long time Just need clarification on the Pajero Intercooler 2.8 jeeps 1994-1996 (predecessor to the Mahaththaya model) I'm after the model no. on the firewall plate It should read something along the lines of KD-V46WG XXXX... just after the suffix (remaining letters) but if you could post the whole model no. that would be much appreciated Perhaps if an owner of one of these could spare some time to share it or if you happen to go past a sale and check under the hood even? It must be the 5 spd Manual model with Dual A/C and Sunroof Here are some examples: http://www.autolanka...ad.asp?ID=89010 http://www.autolanka...ad.asp?ID=87706 http://www.autolanka...ad.asp?ID=88732 Thanks for your concern Appreciate your help Suba Dhavasak Randheera
  8. Yes the one am keeping an eye on is a 1993 model... it has only done 155,000 kms which is why I am quite interested. The owner has had it for 15 years. What do you say? Thank you for the help aiye Suba dhavasak KiT
  9. thank you for the quick reply! What sort of faults were you experiencing at the time? and I agree on the look... it is superb no! Bohoma isthuthi Suba dhavasak KiT
  10. Hello Dear Friends at Auto Lanka, Am quite new to this forum so first of all I'd like to say hello. I am thinking of purchasing a Mitsubishi Pajero 2.8TD Intercooler 4x4. These days am keeping an eye on a 1993 Mitsubishi Pajero 2.8 Turbo Diesel Intercooler. I have done a fair amount of research over the web about the Pajero. It is pulled by the same engine as the Mitsubishi Delica (also known as L400 in lanka), the 4M40T engine. The engine of the Pajero is the 4M40T engine. Displacement: 2800cc Turbo Intercooler I was wondering if you could please tell me the problems experienced by pajero intercooler users, the maintenance techniques, reliability of the engine, and other useful advice about the vehicle. As fair as I know, I have seen that this engine is quite commonly prone for overheating problems... hopefully this wont hold me back from buying one. But I would just like to clarify thanks friends. Thank you very much Kind Regards Randheera Suba Dhavasak Jaya Wewa
